Hello Paul! (can i call you 'Paul'?)

Anyway,

You have an EXCELLENT site. I am not from Nevada, but I happen to be an unofficial enthusiast of the so-called "Arrowhead Trail" from L.A. to Vegas.

I have been to the Valley of Fire (2004) during an attempt to visit St. Thomas.

There are a number of maps from the 1920s and 30s which show a road (they call it 'improved') from Vegas to St. Thomas. I am certain that it was a dirt road.

However, I have never been able to trace the exact route from old Las Vegas Blvd. (old HWY 91) to the ghost town.

These "Arrowhead Trail" markers really don't give a good realistic trace of that route. Was it "Bergstrom Avenue"?

If you happen to have any additional information, give me a buzz at the following address:

CRIMSON_KING22@YAHOO.COM

Thanks again for the thorough marker site. My dad and his sister both live in Henderson.....the NEW Henderson.

Thanx,

Sincerely,

Matt George

Thanks for your efforts on this site. I just found it,but I'm sure I'll enjoy it. I have a Winnebago motorhome and a Suzuki Samurai and love road trips! I have crossed Nevada many times. I love the backroads and hate the freeways. There's nothing better than seeing the small cities and meeting folks who live them.
I am one of the people who stops at roadside info signs.I'm just waiting till the weather gets a little warmer; then I'm off again! Nevada is in my mapsites!
thanks again, David

Paul, this is great! You've done a wonderful job and a service to folks like me who like to learn about the histories of places, but find it difficult to get around as much as I would like.
We live in historic Hawthorne, NV....quite a challenge for me coming from "the big city" !!
Thank you so much!!
