I have always loved reading Historical Markers. After retiring last year decided to try and visit all of the markers in Nevada. While developing a map and data base I ran across your web site. LOVED IT!. Are you not going to maintain it? It looks like the domain is for sale. Anyway, the information you have developed is fantastic and worthy of a book. I hope the State Historical Society knows of it. ( they didn\'t mention it to me when I call and ask for an Excel file of the markers. Please feel free to get in touch with me with advise and wisdom from your experiences. Mike. PS I plan on visiting all the sites by motorcycle.

After reading the Las Vegas Review Journal article MONUMENTAL ACHIEVEMENT by Steve Bornfeld, December 6, 2014, regarding Father Francisco Garces, it reminded me that when K.O. Knudson Jr. High School was built over 50 years ago, it originally was named \"Francisco Garces\" and the name was proudly displayed in large letters. Suddenly, the name was replaced by that of K. O. Knudson, a local educator, begging the question: Was the change owing to the title being that of a Catholic priest on a public school?
