Morning All. Intend laying a wreath at Plymouth Falklands Memorial at 1000 on Monday 25 May on behalf of HMS Broadsword Association in memory of HMS Coventry. Due to social distancing I think I will be doing it on my own this year. |

Excellent video clip of Almirante Greenhalgh and PHM Atlantico(OCEAN)on you tube. Broadsword sail past Ocean during Brazilian exercise. Still in her old goalkeeping role. Good to see. Look for clip title Greenhalgh leapfrogging Atlantico. Regards to all. |

To all members attending next years reunion in Bristol. If you haven\'t already submitted your menus please do so early in the new year. Do not leave until the week before as you will be disappointed. If you have already submitted but have not paid please do so in January so the treasurer can pay the balance when it is due in April. May i take this opportunity to wish all members a very happy Xmas. Yours Aye Shipmate Bracken |

Shipmates, today is a very sad day for our shipmate Ozzie Osbourne, today he will be at the funeral of his wife Sylvia, who had a long and brave battle with Altzhiemers, please keep him in your thoughts as he is not in the best of health himself. Ozzie was on the first Broadsword and generally attends all our functions. Sylvia has crossed the bar, may she find safe anchorage. aye Pedlar (chairman) |

Flights and hotel booked for next May. I got two nights at the Mercure Bristol Holland House Hotel for £179 through Booking.com which is a better rate than the discounted rate offered by the hotel. Check it out. |
