I need help. I have never planned this before and want to think of a creative theme to attract more volunteers to attend.
First off: I'm still deciding on which type of award to give to the volunteers.
As far as goodie bags my ideas are: a flower pot with flowers with a saying: Thanks for Helping us Grow! or a Frame with appreciation words on the frame and in the inside have a quote.
Also I would love to think of a theme: maybe "Celebrate the Stars" "Paradise for the Stars"...

Hope this might help. We are going with the theme. Volunteers plant the seeds of kindness. My residents are making small flowers in pots that hold photos. The Positive Promotions has certificates that have the saying on them and you can even purchase gifts that have the same saying, if you have the budget for it. We are putting a volunteer tea together for our party with lots of pastel flowers, like an english garden. You could even buy terracotta pots of various sizes and seal them and purchase the plastic inserts for them and serve your food out of them and use lettuce leaves on the edge. It looks really nice put together. Hope you could use some this.
