Hi..if you haven't already found this...
"Volunteer, thanks for carrying the baton for the team and going the EXTRA mile. Your presence is a LIFESAVER and worth 100 GRAND. Life is sweeter because of the TREASURES of your time and caring."
Carol-here's a poem for volunteers:
Thank You
You may not have a lot to give
in terms of wealth and power
But what you give to me outweighs
the rich man's ivory tower
The good times and laughter
the memories and the fun
The fellowship and trusting
can not by gold be won.
The atime, the love, the willingness (atime correct here)
to help where needed
These gifts to me are priceless
and they do not go unheeded
When life's unfair nad I despair
and feel I cannot cope
When I come close to giving up,
abandoning all hope
That's when I count my blessings
and shed the cloak of fear
That's when I feel so priviliged
I Thank you-VOLUNTEER!
Also: V aluable is the work you do
O utstanding is how you always come through
L oyal, sincere and full of good cheer,
U ntiring in your efforts throughout the year
N otable are the contributions you make.
T rustworthy in every project you take.
E ager to reach your every goal.
E ffective in the way you fulfill your role.
R eady with a smile like a shining star,
S pecial and wonderful-that's what you are.
I hope these help. I received these from somewhere-author unknown-as far as I know.
