A great idea for a Volunteer Recognition. I used this idea last year for 300 senior adults at our Volunteer Recognition. I purchased through the internet approx. 38 "Chicken Soup for the Volunteers Soul" paperback book and used them as centerpieces for the tables. I then gave them away as doorprizes. For the gift I was able to purchase different color soup bowls and plates to match through a catalogue. I was also able to get Lipton Instant Chicken Noodle Soup donated, and we put two packages of soup in each bowl with two packages of crackers. The seniors loved the gifts, and it was very festive with the different color soup bowls, napkins, and placemats.
