A thank you card for each volunteer is a great way to recognize their individual efforts!
We work with youth so I taped together 4 large poster boards that read "Thank You" and had each youth sign the card and write a message in colored sharpies. I then took a digital picture of the card and I formatted it into a word document and printed on the inside a message of thanks. Each card was printed on a color printer and I handwrote each volunteers name in the card. If you have pictures of the volunteers in action it might be nice to use that as the front of the card or enclose them in the card.

As we all know, many of our volunteers have full time jobs and busy careers. Besides sending letters of recognition to their places of work, either directly to their superior or through the Human Resources office, what are some other ideas?
