I am the Parent Liaison for an elementary school which is Title I and more than half of our parents have to work. My problem is that I am here to get parents involved and when I only have 2 parents volunteer in one month I get really upset. I do lots of things to bring them in and they just do not come. I have open house 2 times a yr. we have dad's day which is especially for dad's, we also have activities once a month either parent meeting or a make and take.I need some encouragement I am feeling like a failure.
