Last year for volunteer appreciation at the Independent Living Resource Centre - St. John's, Newfoundland Paint Group members painted paper gift bags. Each bag was different & unique, just like the folks that share their expertise with us through voluterism. Many had their bags framed or mounted. They were really gorgeous. Each bag had the volunteers name on it with a design. Contained within the bags were: certificate of appreciation, ILRC-St. John's, Newfoundland logo pin, thank-you card, candy, ILRC magnets, pens etc. Not only did people appreciate getting the gift bags The ILRC Paint Group enjoyed painting them. It truly was a lot of fun! Now what to do this year...
