OASIS-Enriching the Lives of Mature Adult offers volunteer opportunities to active seniors (50+). We are a national organization operating in 26 cities across America with 330,000+ members. Tucson, OASIS, office is in a local department store in a mall that is under major renovation. First question: What are some recognitions ideas? We hold a yearly recognition event for about 200-300 folks from all our OASIS' programs-but the volunteers who run our office (about 40) need more recognition. I do some thank you, notes or you got caught awards but not on a consistent basis. Second question: How to recruit volunteers in the 55-65 age category-volunteer opportunities are: Instructor, office volunteer, tutor volunteer, public relations, marketing volunteer.
