I loved that it took several months each time he replied to Kate and that she kept trying to worm his number out of him and he wouldn't give it.

I love how Marguerite convinces him he could get Kate to leave if he just agrreed to "one" of the book signings. but neglects to tell him its a week worth of "things"...knowing as a man with honor he wont back out, once he gives his word!!

Or how when she comes to visit him to talk him into going after Kate, she looks at him with pity in her eyes and nips his pride.

Could just see him looking at her with a little lost boy face and asking "But how do I get her back?" - If I were sitting there facing him like Marguerite I would have wanted to give him a cookie and kiss and hug him, like mommies do to make it all better.

I want to be like Marguerite when I grow up.

Oh yeah. My favorite part in the book. I loved when he asked CK what an Angel wannabe was.

or when Kate was embarrassed about haveing him wear fake fangs and tux w/ cape for the vampire ball!!

The ending was so funny when Kate was nearing the coffin and she was trying to convince that Lucern wasn't dead. "Of course, there's always rigor mortis to consider"

LOL. All this talk is reminding me of how much fun I had writing that one. Lucern was a blast to write. But then I usually have fun with them. Thanks though for prodding my memory guys.

Odd as this may sound, I write them and then forget them. Seriously. My agent wrote today saying she was reading Sweet Shrew (the second historical I wrote for Avon, the title will probably change) She said she was really enjoying it and was nearly done but didn't "have a clue who the bad guy was. Don't tell me though!"

I wrote the ****ed thing in January and yet I actually couldn't think whtat the story was about or who the bad guy was. I had to ask Dave, lol.

So thanks for the walk down memory lane. And I'm glad you all enjoyed it.

Okay memory refresher. Julius went chasing after Marguerite when her mind was being controlled. She pushed past Tiny. He followed her into the street and he was "without apparel" at the time.

Bastien had just put Terri to bed after the memorable dessert on the couch. Then he went to reclaim his and her clothes. On his way back he saw CK at his door knocking and Bastien also was "in the buff". Then CK made the remark "What is with you Argeneaus" or something to that effect.

Well you know what they say "If you got it, Flaunt it" Apparently they do!!!
