Re: Will Armand's story be told?

Yes you did. That is why I plated along. Me too.
This is fun. Off topic, but fun

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

Even more reason for Marguerite to help out I bet ya Marcus is seriously jealous of Julius now, but I'd imagine Lynsay wont leave him like that for too long

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

Well then.....

I could have danced all night

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

And still have begged for more.

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

Well I hope not. I think Marcus is like any best friend who has seen his friend find the love of his life. He is jealous in the sense he envies their happiness but I don't think he would ever want Julius to be miserable like he was before Marguerite.

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

Never in a million years!!

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

I could have spread my wings

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

But anyway back on topic .... I was also wondering about the Notte twins. They are cute but more childlike than adult. I forget though how are they related to Julius?

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

Nephews to Julius. They are his sisters children.
Camilla (Mila) Notte- Mother
Reginald- Father

Had to check the info

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

Thank you sis So does anyone think they will find their lifemates anytime soon?

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

I think that Marcus is jealous of Julius having a lifemate but he's not like Julius' evil sister Vita, he'd never want Julius to suffer at all.

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

Well no one is evil like Vita, she could give Hannibal Lector lessons.

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

Or even Charles Manson

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

Okay worse villian ever? Lilly, Vita, Morgan, Pudge, Father Joseph, Mike and Karen, or Blondie?

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

Blondie. Before that I was leaning towards JC

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

I think I have to vote Vita. She had some serious phycosis going on.

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

Vita for sure

Father Joseph was just screwed up and Mike and Karen were just nutso

But Vita was right out insane!

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

Although Blondie was pretty scary too. And he was very determined.

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

OK, so the MARCUS/JULIUS thing...I don't think he is jealous of him, they were frineds when he had Margeurite the first time. I just think he was worried his freind would be hurt again. I think he is a typical european. They have exteremely dry scenes of humor( sorry MR. SPICE) I do believe that Marcus wants what they all want, and thats to find his lifemate. I do believe that he mantioned the corousing was getting old anyway. It wa just non-exisitent when Julius found Margeurite.

the villian..ooh! good topic!

I agree with you. The good Father/ Mike and Karen was runnig off his beliefs (just scared)
PUDGE and especially VITA...major nut cases!
Lilly hurt and betrayed.
Morgan, he claims he wanted the freedom and power he felt he had by being rogue, but the minute he found LIEGH and thought maybe he had achance at his happily ever after. He jumped at it.Clearly messed up in the head!

My votes for VITA then MORGAN!

G

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

I kinda felt sorry for Morgan. I mean I know he chose to go over to the dark side but when one feels like they don't have anything else to live for sometimes it looks like they have no other option.

Does that make sense or have I watched to many Lifetime movies?

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

No it makes perfect sense

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

Definitely a Darth Vader thing. He thought he had lost everything because the Emperor told him he had. Pushed him right over the edge, too.

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

***SPOILERS ~ about villains***

Father Joseph and Mike & Karen were just going on "vamp myths" and were just scared. The "cucumber guy" was just weird and following Father Joseph's lead, if I remember correctly. Also, he probably wanted some revenge on Lissianna because she was a pretty woman he knew he couldn't have.

Lily never grew up or was trained correctly...she was working out of revenge because of what she "thought" she had lost. She had choices, and she made bad ones.
William had warped her mind at such a young age, and she had lived in fear because of it instead of seeking help after he was killed. She thought he "loved" her...that's what pedophiles can do to a young one's mind. So, she had developed psychiatric problems also, but she still knew right from wrong. She didn't want to believe the truth, because that meant accepting that she had been a victim of William instead of his "love." Lily was a criminal, who had been affected by the events in her childhood, but did not have any excuse for her choices. I don't know what happened to her, because I don't know if she could have been rehabilitated. I don't know if we have ever been told if the council terminated her...but it seemed probable at the time.

Pudge was just nuts, in a truly insane way...he was a danger to anyone, even himself, because his beliefs and what he wanted were so far out there. It's why the immortals wanted him in a psychiatric hospital where he truly belonged...they did not really want to have to terminate him, because they knew his mind was fragmented and that they could not help him. Pudge didn't really even know right from wrong anymore. He had serious delusions, and didn't live in "the real world." I believe Lucian would have only ordered him terminated to protect both the immortals and other humans and to protect him from himself. That's why he needed Rachel's co-operation...he didn't want to have to order an insane man killed unless there was no other way.

Morgan's losses of his lifemate and JC drove him rogue and he was a coward, so his attitude was "I'm going to play the big bad vampire myth and take anyone else with me that I can." Seems a lot of those who go rogue that the enforcers must hunt go that way. On another post somewhere, I explained my view that Vita played a role in his and JC's ultimate destruction. The events she put in place and getting them to help her do the three on one led into the events that later destroyed them both. Oh, I know JC and Morgan were not innocent...they brought much of their unhappiness on themselves. However, Vita used them for her own gain, and brought about the final downfall for both of them. The only good that came out of Vita's interference was the births of Jean Claude's & Marguerite's other children.

As for Blondie, he worked for Vita. Maybe he was a mercenary, or maybe just under her control in some way. We know he referred to "the boss." She had to have used her abilities to get him terminated before he could be questioned by the council. He was a villain because he was doing whatever Vita ordered, and he was determined. He kind of reminds me of the guys in the mob movies who are the hitmen. He probably knew he would be killed if he did not succeed. I wouldn't be surprised if Vita didn't have an entire network of her own personal mobsters.

Vita...I don't think she was insane...I think she was pure evil. She knew what she was doing. It's interesting that Blondie referred to her as "the boss." That is exactly who she wanted to be. She knew right from wrong, but wasn't concerned by it. The concept was not important to her. She just wanted what she wanted and she hated her brother out of envy. Envy is different than and much worse than jealousy. With envy, you want what the other person has and you don't want them to have it. When you are jealous, you may want something like the other person has, but you don't necessarily want them to lose what they have. (Like when Lucern and Etienne had found their lifemates...Bastien was happy for them, but could sense a feeling of wanting his lifemate also...not jealous in an ugly sense, and certainly not wanting them to lose the happiness they had found. That is more along the lines of jealousy.)

That's why envy is among the seven deadlys. It wants to take what belongs to another, and it doesn't want another to have what rightfully belongs to them.
Yep, that was Vita...envious of her younger brother and the attention he received from the day he was born and of anything he had...even happiness with Margurite. So envious that she wanted to take his life away, kill his son...but smart enough to know she had to be careful. She knew her father didn't trust her...but she hadn't been caught yet. She had enough on JC and Morgan that they wouldn't ever come out against her...it would endanger themselves because of the things they had done. She simply hid beneath a pleasant facade, and bided her time while the evil inside of her continued to grow.

I wouldn't want to meet up with any of them, but I would rank them in this order as villains:

1. Vita: pure evil

2. Blondie: hitman for Vita, doesn't care who he hurts

3. Lily: allowed her life to turn her into a criminal

4. Morgan: willing to break the law with JC & allowed his losses to turn him rogue and cowardly to hurt others

5. Jean Claude: selfish and spoiled, allowed his losses to turn him to alcohol and to hurt others

6. Pudge: truly insane, delusional...he belonged in a psychiatric hospital because he would hurt others...

7. Father Joseph and Cucumber Guy (Dewayne): the priest was acting on his fears and beliefs about vampire myths... weird cucumber guy followed along and wanted revenge on Lissianna because he felt rejected. The priest was ignorant about the truth of the immortals, and Dewayne was a follower and a very insecure person.

8. Mike & Karen: acting out of fear for their son who they didn't want to become a vampire...going on vamp myths because they didn't know the truth and their son wasn't being truthful with them...but still sad because they should have talked to Elvi and Mabel...that kind of miscommunication can lead to many people getting hurt. Fear and ignorance can do that! Think of the Salem witch hunts, etc...

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

Dwayne was really really strange. Loved Lynsay's sense of humor right from there First book I read and from there I knew I was going to love her humor.

He was also unstable it seemed, to put a freaking cucumber in his pants and padding in his jacket.. oh god what an insecure nutjob The priest, typical mad raving inqusitoralist

Pudge & Lily haven't read those books yet

Vita: Pure Evil - You get the picture of her standing back and cackling gleefully as she watches the destruction she causes. Even after 2000 years she still hates Julius, thats more then insane, insanity doesn't have logic or any sense. No wonder why she never found her lifemate, spending over 2500 years being evil she was probably closed off from that and probably met her lifemate more then once but was too closed off to realise it.

Can we get clarification? The book implied that Vita was around 1000 years old when Julius was born, that would mean that Vita was born in Atlantis. Is that correct?

Morgan and JC, I just feel sorry for them. But they are weak cowards though, have to blame Vita for some of JC's suffering though as shes the reason his lifemate was killed. But if he didn't turn Marguerite even though he knew she wasn't his lifemate and waited those extra 200 years he would have been in the open with his lifemate. However though JC was born when Atlantis was still standing presumably thats 1800 years of loneliness

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

Oops ^^ 2800 years of loneliness for JC, thats a really really long time. I guess he got desperate. I wonder why there isn't a clause in the one turning only considering that some of the immortals around were alive when Atlantis fell 3500 years is a VERY long time. So if you've lived over 2000 years I think you've earnt the right to make a mistake when turning the wrong person

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

Lynsay said there was no exception to the rule even if your lifemate that you had turned had died or there would be lots of "accidental deaths" happening.
They are so strict on the turning law because many would just slice the head off of their partner to be free to turn another.

But, Marguerite did look a lot like his first true lifemate...the one he lost in Atlantis, I think...and that is a lot of years to be lonely. Also, JC was always a little spoiled and selfish even before Marguerite...letting Lucien be the strong twin who looked away because he cared about his brother.

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

Yeah I can see that your right there

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

What I find interesting about Lily and Vita is the reasons for what they did.

Take Lilly first. She was abused. She was never able to have healthy relationship and she never would. I think her actions are explainable but not excusable. There are too many people who were in similar heinous situations as her and yet they chose to not do the things she did.

Vita was just a sociapath. She saw what she wanted and she went after it. She knew what she wanted was wrong. She just didn't care. The lengths and her determination that she went too were mind boggling. If she hadn't allow her emotional hatred for Julius to cloud her judgement she probably could have suceeded. Because really no one ever suspected except Julius father. And after a time even he began to believe that what he thought was wrong.

Sorry about the rambling but I find the reasons for peoples actions fascinating

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

jill, could you imagine if someone like that turned their attention to doing "good!" they would be unstopable!
G3

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

Your right G3. All the energy and determination. She could find the cure to cancer or the common cold.

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

Or even allergies!

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

Oh you poor thing. Yes even allergies.

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

i think we need a Notte family tree

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

C1.....HEY SIS! These are for you...SmileyCentral.com

PUPPY....Right now, wedo not need one! Remeber the only ones tied to the Argenaeus right now are Julius and Christian.
I think they are working at makeing a better one....Hopefully biggr to accomodate everyone, but we really don't have to worry about that until some more of the enforcers books are out, and we see if any are related! otherwise, maybe we can come up with something different.

"AN ENFORCER LOG!" afer we get a few then maybe we might see a tree forming...but we have time yet!

G3

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

I am with you G3. I am none too happy with family tree especially after the spoiler in VI.

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

Here also. But as to the tree in VI mo one twisted my are to look first. Suspected and just wanted to verify.
I know some people who do not read the back cover nor the first pages. They just go to chapter1.

But, different strokes for different folks!

C1

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

That's true. I tend to look at in most of her books to see how they updated it from her previous stories. And I kinded knew that Julius and Marguerite would be listed there.

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

C1....don't do that sis! way to easy to get myself into trouble with those syas!
G3

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

What? Who? Me?

c1 of AE4SmileyCentral.com

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

Yeauh C1 b/c you are truly innocent

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

Vita couldn't have a lifemate because she was incapable of LOVE! All she wanted was power...whatever love she may have had was only for herself and the power she could accumulate.

She also would not want to share her power. Loving means being able to give. Even if she met someone like herself, they would have made an evil couple for awhile...but they would have turned against each other in their quest for power.

Yep...Vita=pure evil.

As for Lily, she had so many years to learn the truth and to get help...during the time she was working for Vincent's company she came into contact with all kinds of other immortals. Vincent knew who she was, and was just willing to give her privacy. She could have made different choices, but she was just warped and she rationalized her actions by what had been done to William. She allowed her past circumstances to make her a criminal...and tried to justify it by what had happened in her life. Mentally and emotionally, she could have chosen to find out how to be helped...she wasn't unintelligent. Actually, she was quite clever. Unlike Pudge, she was not insane...being warped and being truly insane are not the same thing. Lots of people have things happen in their lives where they have to get physical or mental health care later, but they are sane. Medically speaking, Lily knew exactly what she was doing and did it out of revenge. She meant to hurt others.

Pudge's mind was truly fragmented...Etienne would have helped him in the beginning so that there would not have been a problem, but there was too much confusion in Pudge's mind for Etienne or any other of the immortals to help him even with the immense mental powers that they have. Medically, Pudge's mind was "broken," and there was no cure.

Analyzing characters...always interesting!

wren ...got the glasses on, trying to adapt to them!

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

Right now i'm 3 parts annoyed and 1 part pleased. I only got one of the four books I was meant to be getting this week! Two of them are two weeks late! They were supposed to be in last week.. However I did get Etienne's book which was the one I was going to read first anyway

Tell me how does it take a month to get the book out of the warehouse and put on a plane? When one of my books was here in only one week?

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

Wren I have to agree with you about Lily. She could have gotten help at anytime in her life after William was gone. She was capable enough to see that around her will healthy happy people.

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

I don't know Acal, because I ordered black pants for my sons for a banquet they have to attend this week from The Gap Online last Thursday...and I ordered the express overnight shipping so they should have been here March 14th. Even got an email confirming that...and on Saturday...the 15th they were in the Fedex warehouse sorting in Memphis (which is a straight down the highway four hour drive from us) and left there at 4:00 AM, but they are still not here. I need to get the boys shoes and shirts today, because the banquet we attend is tomorrow night. I am soooo NOT paying the extra shipping costs...it was like three times regular, which is what I will get IF they arrive today!

I did not put this off. Seems that growing boys with 29W-34L or 30W-32L can't find pants in the mall...but the saleslady at The Gap said they had them online...and they did, but it doesn't help if they aren't here when I need them.

So, that is my rant for this morning...those pants better come today! Banquet...Business casual...has to be khaki, navy, or black pants...and no jeans...we Live in Jeans The boys even wear nice jeans to church. I need to find a dress too, but it will be my Easter Dress also.

Oh well, they want to make it nice...and it is good to learn how to dress for whatever the occasion! But they can just take that extra shipping $$ off of my credit card!

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

Acel....I feel for you, If you think thats crazy....
I ordered 3 books from AMAZON.com, I had 1 preordered(VI) I even paid $10.00 extra in shipping fees to make sure I get them in 2-3 days (PER THERE WEB-SITE!) 3 days later I called them to find out why according to their web-site, they weren't even shipped yet! They told me, that I paid the extra to nsure that they would ship the books from the web-site to their "local store" in 2-3 days.....after that I would expect the books to be arriving to be anytime in the next 5-9 days! ****NOW TELL ME HOW THAT WORKS!****
And I don't even want to know how long it would have taken them to ship the first part if I didn't pay the extra $10.00....Needless to say, I canceled the order! and luckily i only had to wait another day before th local bookstore had them, but COME ON!!

G3 (who feels you pain!)

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

Oh I know thats just stupid

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

Maybe we could talk Lynsay into doing what Julia Quinn did with her Bridgerton series and do some epilogues of the characters from previous books. She could post them online for sale or just collect them into one book.

What scenes or situations would everyone like to see our favorite characters in? Perhaps Lucian while Leigh is in labor? She could be all cool and collected while he runs around in a panic.

Or she could go back into the past and tell us how everyone in the lab reacted when the first patient injected with the nanos suddenly went crazy with pain and then started becoming younger. That could be interesting.

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

Kimberly, that would make a really good new post!

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

Gena,

I think I will make that a new post just so that more people will see it. I still forget sometimes to hit the NEXT button to go to the next page and I miss some posts that way. Like this one. I didn't read the last page and so when I posted it seemed odd because the thread had moved onto another topic!
