Both! I think he goes through the most changes from start to finish.

Also, Thomas...you really see him grow up! (even though a lot of it is just to annoy his older cousins!)

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

Wren -

I'm having technical difficulties with my computer, so, if this is posted twice my apologies.

I like Lucians character/story the best. I think he changes the most from start to finish.

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

Actually Lucian isn't my favorite, Lucern was. But... Lucian was my first Argeneau experience. You know your first always holds a special place in your heart

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

I have about 60 pages left to read and so far I haven't enjoyed this story as much as I have as the others. But it is really funny and all. But this book is #5 on my list atm.

Poor Lucien though he's gone through soo much in such a short time. My favourite part would have to be Rachel's intervention where she gathered up Lissiana and Greg and Thomas. Greg was actually really quiet, it did seem like he didn't want to be particularly noticeable being all quietly.

My second favourite scene was Julius and the garbage bag of death! Lucian was having the worst time possible not to mention looking like the biggest ass when he went up to Leigh's room

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

SPOILER ALERT----------------------------------------

I am actually reading Lucian's story again. And I love the part when he goes to the book store to find books about "how to get the girl of your dreams" and runs into that sales clerk Carl.

I also love when Thomas gets blackmailed into teaching Lucian how to dance.

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

1-2-3 waltz
1-2-3 dip

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

acal...i thik greg being quiet is probably the psychologist in him. Sit back and listen, and only talk when you have something to say!

Love the dance lessons....but even better was when rachel actually got into his head, and figured out that he was embarrassed how long it had been and wasn't sure if he remembered how!!

great book, i had read it at least 4 times!!!

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

Hehe, it was very uncomfortable for Lucian there, Greg and Rachel are the two relatives that he knows don't like him and they are there prodding at his problems. Rachel was classic though, I think Greg would have been smirking on the inside from Lucian pretty much projecting himself.

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

You know if even though Greg and Rachel had a strained relationship with Lucian, I think they both still cared about him. Otherwise why help him at all? Why not let him suffer through trying to get Leigh?

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

Obviously they did, nice opportunity for payback though I can't wait until Lynsay gives a second book to some of the characters

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

actually, I don't think Greg and Lucien were as strained as Rachel and Lucien....

He was hard on Greg, but I think it was his way to see if he was "good enough" for Lissi. Since JC isn't around, he kind of unknowingly stepped into the role her father should have had.(she is niece...and they have a special bond!) Just another layer of Lucien...he is so deep!

As for Rachel, he was projecting everything, which you can be sure he dosn't do! She was mad at him, for threatening to kill her if he had to,even though, I think the only reason she was there in the beginging was to get back at him,he started to broadcast to everyone, and she really got to see who he was on the inside.....if she didn't care for him, even a little...she would have taken advantage of him, instead of taking charge in helping him!!
He is such a big teddybear!SmileyCentral.com

G3-who is going to stop now, before she gets too sentimental!

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

Awwww. Its okay G3 I totally agree

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

Spoiler Alert----------------------------------------

I couldn't believe how much I forgot Lucian's story. I loved the part where Leigh was in his bedroom for the first time and she saw the black satin sheets. The description of Lucian's face was hysterical.

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

*****spoiler BMIYC******

I loved it when she was trying to keep away from him in the end, because she thought he had the drink, and all rachel packed for her were lil'sexy night gowns! and he drops the tray.

G3

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

***Possible BMIYC Spoiler***

Don't forget about the end..Lucian didn't believe her when she said she could take care of herself! Once he saw her in action, he was singing a different tune.

That's what I love about Lynsays books - the female isn't in a corner whimpering waiting for someone to help!

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

Yeah I love that too and she always makes the heroine intelligent or with some common sense. I hate when a heroine something and you just know that in reality nobody would be that stupid.

SPOILER ----------------------------------------------

I love that part G3. Heehee and when Rachel goes through the books he bought and then she reads his mind about how long its been since he was with a woman.

OMG-Too Funny!

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

I have to say it again but I can't wait until Lynsay revisits some of these couples I'd love to see a second book for some of them

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

Yeah especially after VAF I would like to see some interaction between Thomas/Inez and Bastien/Terri

Or maybe Lucern/Kate and Etienne/Rachel.

Or.....now that we have all these lifemates with their families (Rachel, Kate, Inez, and Greg) we could maybe see one these connect with future charaters - Decker, Elspeth, Martines Twins, Notte Twins, Christian or even Marcus. Oooh the possibilities are infinite

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

I'd really like to see something like their lifemates being placed in a sticky situation, though I think i'd like that most to be Greg. I think that would turn out great. So for the second book of the couple maybe Lynsay could tell it from the otherside?

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

Well Lynsay did tell of some of it from Greg's point view. But I see what you are saying.

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

I know it would be great because the central focus was on the main character not their lifemate, the second book should have a switched perspective

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

i so see what you are saying about greg....
you saw his point of view in the book, but then he kind of hides in the shadows. it almost seems like his book was mostly about LISSIANA
i would like to see him take the lead sometime in a sticky situation,(like rachel)and completely floor the rest of the argeaeu men!

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

Wouldn't that give those big strapping men a complex?

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

Probably But on the other hand if they are secure enough, maybe just maybe they may let the little women play

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

Not likely. Remember York? They left the "little women" there to go traipsing to Italy. Granted it was to find Marguerite. But really. Sometimes I think Vita was right. MEN!!! No offense.

If the women were there they would have found them sooner.

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

Yep and they would have stopped and asked for directions

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

Good one!!!!!!!

C1-SmileyCentral.com

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

I really dont think Rachel would have just stayed in York Good for them that she wasn't with them heh or they would have had a riot Can't wait to read the other books still got 4 left, hopefully they will be all here this week or I wont be pleased because they'll be late then

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

Well be careful Acal, because if you get them all in one day then you will go into Argeneau overload. Make sure you have someone standby to revive you if you faint.

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

Yes, Acal, check-ins become mandatory...we like to know that our fellow Argeneauts are still breathing!

So many books...so little time...I fly through them the first reading, so I always have to do a second right away.

wren

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

I've read all of them in one sitting pretty much two of them were interrupted by sleep breaks but other then that they haven't lasted 24 hours! Hoping to have all of them next week as my bookstore only gets deliveries once a week

Oh I know I think i'd need a stand by.. Need to find one

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

hey that gives me an idea....

Maybe its GREG who bans together...with Margerites pushing of course to find Marcus mate.

Wouldn't that throw them all into caos!!SmileyCentral.comwith all the big strong vamp men!!Talk about a complex. A new turn like Greg helping Marcus out with a woman!!! they would all NEVER let the poor man live that down!
G3

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

It would definetly make sense. He is the psychologist. If anyone could help with the romance it would be him. He could help Marcus overcome whatever fears he may have and then he would find true romance. Ahh.... I can feel my inner romantic smiling foolishly at thought

In fact Greg would be great to help someone like Armand too! Kill 2 birds with one stone

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

Can you see it now...Marguerite setting up the appointment with Greg?

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

I would love to meet Armand. I wonder what he is like? besides how he is described by other people that he has pushed away

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

I think Marguerite would arrange an "accidental" meeting. She wouldn't want to scare them away.

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

Yeah I think that would work.. I'd really like to see that. I think Greg would be very usefull in helping Marcus, then I think Greg could get caught up in whatever drama Lynsay decides for this book.

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

The weird thing is, I can not seem to get a grasp on Marcus' personality. He seems to have a very dry sense of humor which I find appealing but the books I have seem him mentioned in don't talk about him a lot. So I am not really sure if that is the way he is.

Maybe Marcus has a dark past we don't know about. Something that has made him wary like what happen with Bastien. Thoughts anyone?

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

Remember he was carousing with Julius in Your. He sounded dry about that. Could have been jealousy.

c1 of AE4

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

Do you think he is jealous of Julius because now he has found his lifemate?

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

I think he wishes he found his at the same time.
All those years can be lonely.SmileyCentral.com

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

Yeah and now with Julius having Marguerite I guess he would feel like the 3rd wheel.

Re: Will Armand's story be told?

He'll just have to concentrate on running Notte Construction while J & M get re-acquaintedSmileyCentral.com

Maybe Luck will be a Lady
