Re: Lynsay VI, was outstanding!!!

Hmm...yes it does

Re: Lynsay VI, was outstanding!!!

But anyway.....getting my mind out of the gutter, I wonder with the new Enforcer novels if they will have the symbol tatooed somewhere too?

Re: Lynsay VI, was outstanding!!!

Probably will, You notice that the man on the cover of A Quick Bite who I suppose is meant to be Greg doesn't have the vampire thing but does have a bite mark. They do have that sort of theme running.

1) Bite mark on Greg's neck
5) Golden bat braclet hanging off Jackie's wrist
6) Bat tat just above Leigh's dress on the left side
7) Bat tat just above Victor's belly button (and you know I only just noticed Elvi's head behind his shoulder..)
8) Bat tat in front of full moon tat on Thomas' bicep
9) Two bat tats just above Marguerite's left wrist
10) Where is that bat going to show up?

I think the cover of Love Bites is really cool, the bat with the rose in its mouth is really sweet

Re: Lynsay VI, was outstanding!!!

Wow I didn't even notice the one on Victor's stomach. I need to get my prescription changed on my glasses.

Re: Lynsay VI, was outstanding!!!

The Enforcer Books may not have the Bat.SmileyCentral.com
We are waiting im-patiently for the news on the cover.

Re: Lynsay VI, was outstanding!!!

Oh yeah that is right. It might be something entirely different then.

Re: Lynsay VI, was outstanding!!!

Probably, however i'm going to assume that its going to be something similar. Lynsay did say that the book is at Avon in the art department now, they should be publishing it soon and getting it ready for distribution. When they start publishing it the cover should be out

So hopefully next month or so, the cover of Blood Noir (Book 16 in the Anita Blake series) was released last month I belive and the book is not due until June. So it should be next month the cover is out

Re: Lynsay VI, was outstanding!!!

I went put my preorder in for book 10 and right now it shows "image unavailable" so I hope the cover is availabe soon. I am getting impatient

Re: Lynsay VI, was outstanding!!!

I want to know if "The Rogue Hunter" will stay as the title.

Re: Lynsay VI, was outstanding!!!

Hi y'all,

Avon asked Lynsay for some imput on a design specifically for the Enforcer books, so Lynsay let us give some ideas and some submitted designs for consideration...a little contest. If they use the design, I think Lynsay will put the designer's name in the dedication.

I know she submitted the ideas to Avon...some of us wanted to continue the "bats" in the design, because they have grown on us. There is a whole thread about it somewhere down the list.

That is part of why we want to see the cover...we want to see what Avon chose, or if they went with something comepletely different from the art department.

wren I didn't read all the posts before, so ignore if you already had this info. I'm trying to catch up.

Re: Lynsay VI, was outstanding!!!

I wonder if it is a title Lynsay chose. You don't know how it fits until you read the book, but so far I like this title.

The Rogue Hunter

It makes Mortimer sound...strong and interesting.

wren...ready to read book 10

Re: Lynsay VI, was outstanding!!!

The Rogue Hunter sounds like a great title, It doesn't sound the least bit tacky either Hopefully Mortimer's lifemate is going to be a kick ass chick that helps or saves him with what the Council has tasked him to do.

Re: Lynsay VI, was outstanding!!!

Can't wait for book 10 I love the title. I know that Mortimer is the Enforcer but that title does seem he will be a little bit of bad boy. Bad boys are a little yummy.

Re: Lynsay VI, was outstanding!!!

You have to be a little bad, to catch the bad boys.

C1-now you got me in a L mood

Re: Lynsay VI, was outstanding!!!

Yep definite cold shower. Can tell you this much, I will never think of fairies and nymphs the same again.

Re: Lynsay VI, was outstanding!!!

Stauri do I wanna know what you mean?

Cindy, who says I am not a little bad? I like the bad boys who are not entirely bad.

Re: Lynsay VI, was outstanding!!!

I like the title, too. Just anxious to read it and see the new cover, of course.

Re: Lynsay VI, was outstanding!!!

yea, the titale makes him sound like a bad boy!

Although it seems to put the focus on him being more of a hunter and less of a lover. I hope its not too serious (not that Lynsay's books really are!) but he seemed like such a caring, fun-loving guy when he was with Lucian. Both of them seemed to really take care of Liegh, until Lusian stepped in.

anyways, thanks my thoughts! G3SmileyCentral.com

Re: Lynsay VI, was outstanding!!!

Yeah he did. But we don't know that much about him either. Being an Enforcer can't be an easy job and imagine what he has seen. He is old enough not to be interested in eating.

Re: Lynsay VI, was outstanding!!!

yeah. Nut still a baby at over 100.

Re: Lynsay VI, was outstanding!!!

Yeah kinda wonder about that. At what age does food become boring? 200s, 300, 400s....

I am ...ahem a healthly eater and I can't forsee with all the possibilites out there that I would ever be bored.

Re: Lynsay VI, was outstanding!!!

Think Lissi mentioned something along the lines of 100. But I think it depends on the individual. Look at the Twins. But then they need the food for their body mass.

Re: Lynsay VI, was outstanding!!!

yea, they all hav mentioned a few times...
it starts to get borsing around 100 or so,
but like the twins...and VICTOR!(YYUMM! for awhile anyway!) the men tend to keep eating every now and then to keep up muscle mass, especily the enforcers! I guess it all depends how fast their bodies metabolise as to how often.

then there others like Bastien who picks every now and then to to keep up pretences.

Re: Lynsay VI, was outstanding!!!

Oh yeah I remember that. Didn't Lucern do that because he was a warrior?

Re: Lynsay VI, was outstanding!!!

Now, let's think. Are there any movie or music titles that this could be a play on? It might give us a clue on Mortimer...who is about 800yo if I remember correctly!

Enforcers...yummy

Re: Lynsay VI, was outstanding!!!

Jill - Yes, Lucern did eat to keep up muscle mass, you should know that since he is your favorite (and mine too). And no you don't want to know what I was talking about earlier, apparently I didn't switch to the second page when I responded yesterday. Losing my mind.

I agree with Wren, can't wait to see some Enforcers, love the strong, hardheaded men. I'm drooling now. lol

Re: Lynsay VI, was outstanding!!!

It is too bad immortals can't tatoos. I wouldn't mind put a little brand on him ... something along the lines of "MINE" or "YUMMY CROSSING" .

Re: Lynsay VI, was outstanding!!!

oh i am sure ther are ways to make a mark???SmileyCentral.com

Re: Lynsay VI, was outstanding!!!

You can always airbrush your stamp on him. There are more ways than one to mark your territory.

Re: Lynsay VI, was outstanding!!!

Mark my territory? That sounds a little like what dogs do. I am not sure that is what I meant.

However a few love bites wouldn't go amiss.

Re: Lynsay VI, was outstanding!!!

Jill, to use a term from another author we both like...just "BOND!"

G3

Re: Lynsay VI, was outstanding!!!

Oh yes. If I had my way my bonding scent would be all over Lucern.

Re: Lynsay VI, was outstanding!!!

I can't wait to get these last 3 books hopefully there are all actually in this time or seriously i'm going to throw a fit!

Re: Lynsay VI, was outstanding!!!

Acal, patience is a virtue. Of course when it comes to Lynsays books, I have none.

Re: Lynsay VI, was outstanding!!!

I know it is! But i've been waiting a month though!

Re: Lynsay VI, was outstanding!!!

Acal,

I don't choose to have the virtue of patience...just don't want it, kwim? Your books need to be there!
