There are two paragraphs on the website. Granted it is just a teaser seeing as how the other books have a longer excerpt. But it does make you think of the possibilities.
So, I just have to wait when that package from amazon.com arrives... And I am still waiting an earlier book package which was sent 2 weeks ago...
Lucky you who can go to bookstore and get Lynsay's books from there. Nearest bookstore (and to my knowledge only one) that could possibly order Lynsay's books so that they would be available maybe a week after publishing date is in Helsinki and it's about 450 km from here...
Heli.....Don't even worry about it. We have all had to wait at one time or another, I was lucky to get VAF early this time, but AV was a week and half late, ( because it soldout so fast I tried 3 different book stores and noone had it.)
What a nice surprise! I had to log onto the site using our laptop and I didn't have this site bookmarked so instead of going directly to the message board I ended up on the homepage. What is the surprise you might wonder? If you click on Vampire, Interrupted it takes you to the excerpt for that book. And it's longer than the excerpt included inside Vampires Are Forever! Now I'm even more impatient to read the entire book!
Thanks! I did see that on the other thread right after I posted here. It was rather wonderful wasn't it? I can't wait to find out what happens. It's too bad the release date wasn't on Valentine's Day. That would be the best present my husband could have given me! Now it will just have to be belated indulgence. From me to me!
PUPPYLOVER
we are only guessing! however if you take the books and reread the clues, it dosn't all make sense. so as much as I would like him be...we will just have to what to find out!
g3
don't know nothin 'bout conspiracy theories...just know what I know, but to me it's a spoiler, soooooo I won't talk about it anymore here...kind of wish it hadn't been there myself
wahahahhhahhahahahaha are you really sure you want me to email it? The book is due out in less than two weeks!
NOT FAIR, NOT FAIR..... the baby is never old enough to do anything!! (Now I know how my baby brother must have felt!)
i I have read prt of the harper collins, didn't see what it in what I read!! ( sorry about spelling...brain not working right!)is it in there??? I stopped becuase I didn't want to know to much....
when you start talking conspiracy theories....the government tends to watch you!!!.....**JUST KIDDING**not really into all that!
G3 of AE3 (who must log off now, before they trace me!! and 2 secrets are blown and
I just don't know...when you look at it carefully, you have to wonder...I don't think we know as much as we think we do
kwim We may know the when, and probably most of us know the how and we think we know the who & the who, but what, where(England?), and why...Mrs. Spice always has a twist. Always! I don't even need a premonition to count on that being true.
wren...W2...who is not being bad on purpose this time, I promise.
Sisters......i got a question....let me see what you guys think!
ATT: ***another Conspiracy theory comming up******
most of us know that Lucern and Bastien are 200 years apart, right!? the rest of her kids are only 100 years apart. Also, most of us know that Lucern wasn't that close with he rest of the family.....what if he wasn't M & JC ether....
WHAT IF JC CHANGED HER by accident ( in the heat of te moment type of thing), but didn't want her at first, he just did it at a weak moment when he was really lonely and Julius found out her, knew he was her lifemate and tried to stay with her and.......
***(I AM SORRY TO WHOWEVER SAID THIS BEFORE, DON'T REMMBER WO IT WAS,I THINK GABRELLE)****
you only want what you can't have, JC found her again with a boy and thought it was his and tried to do the noble thing.....(but soon she found herself pregnant again, thinking it was JC but it in fact was J and took them from England!! and from J.
Wren, I was thinking the same thing when I saw it. We may not know what we think, because it could be read very differently than we think.
How'd ya'll like the line "I've taught a lot of Juliuses to heal over the years"? I think it is hilarious that she named all of her dogs Julius, subconsciously keeping him near even though she had no memory of him. Man I can't wait to find out why that is!!!!!!!
hey u know how some of us saw the truth on who c's mom is, does anyone know if Lynsay saw it to becuse if she diden't and she thinks we ruind it for others
she is going to tan are hides for making the book less exciting since we know the truth
It's not like we could help knowing the truth about who his mom is. It's right there in black and white. I think it's a bit of a spoiler but not one that we could do anything about. And it won't stop me from reading the book, either, to find out all the details.
We were already speculating about who Christian's mother is, but I do agree with Denise it was a bit of a spoiler to see it. I agree with Cindy that we don't know everything yet...and like Denise said earlier, a lot depends on how you read it.
We are talking about Lynsay Sands here. There will be twists and turns and lots of fun!
I think I have a good idea who Christian's mother is too...but you're all right. When it comes to Lynsay, we should learn to expect the unexpected. You never know what might pop up and surprise us!
Okay guys, now I see it. Talk about missing the obvious! I kept rereading the actual chapters posted instead of the beginning. I really wish that it hadn't been put in there. I was almost positive that was the truth anyway but I would have rather found out by reading it in the book! Finding out this way makes it kind of... well, you know what I mean. But it's my own fault. If I could have just waited another week it wouldn't have mattered.
However, like other wise people have stated, how everything occured and the reactions of the characters involved are still a mystery. So we have that to look forward to.
kim..don't fee bad, I did the same thing. I was so excited when C1 posted it, I went straight for the chapters.
I kind of new that was how it was going to turn out, but No tangible proof....UNTIL, it was leaked of course.
Do you think it was a mistake? I mean, it seems like the family tree should have been updated in the next book. Putting that information up at the beginning of Vampire, Interrupted just doesn't seem right. Oh well, what's done is done.
Kim
P.S. Wren, what temperature do you consider cold? Here it's currently 10 degrees outside.
I don't think it was a mistake! In VAF, they had Thomas and Inez in that one as well.
I am with you on one point.....They shouldn't put the updated tree in until the book following. Either that or try not to post the family tree in any posts about the book, before they are published.
Okay so I finally saw what you guys were talking about, but it made me think. The difference between Bastien and Christian's age is not quite a 100yrs. Do you think Marguerite will get in trouble for that?
Also maybe Lucian knows this and that is why he is very uneasy. Maybe he was afraid for Marguerite because of this? Hmm...
Thomas and Inez having their names in the family tree together is okay because when you read a romance book you usually know the two main characters will eventually end up together. That's a given, for the most part. They may have some troubles along the way. But everything will work out in the end.
It isn't a spoiler to have that information available. However, the other information that was given away was a spoiler and that does seem like it could have been an oversight or a mistake. I get the feeling that someone, somewhere made a goof.
They should not have had the family tree available until the book came out. I'm with you on that one, G3. Usually, there isn't a spoiler...but this one gave away important information, which would have been more fun to see when we received our new book!
