We need to know what forms if any need to be sent in to our local school board to let them know we will be homeschooling this year. Do I need to send a letter of intent?? And if so how do I go about doing this?? Any help would be great. We are in the Norwich area.

We have been homeschooling our son for the past three years and we live in Norwich. They originally sent me a form to fill out. I didn't fill it out; I just sent them a brief letter stating that effective immediately we would be homeschooling him. They have not contacted me or asked for anything.

Filing a Notice of Intent is not required by law. It's a "suggested procedure" with a long history preceeding its development.
