College Admissions Seminar for Homeschoolers

Some Topics that will be covered include:

* The homeschool transcript: What should it look like? What information are they looking for?
* High school classes: Are there particular classes or topics they want homeschooled students to cover?
* Extra-curricular activities: What types do they want? How many is enough? Too many?
* SAT or ACT? Or both?
* The college application process: How soon should we start preparing? What are the most important parts of the application?
* Financial Aid: What are the best places to find grants and scholarships? What types of loans are there?
* Community Service: How important is it?
* Will taking college courses as a high school student disqualify a student from getting financial aid as a college freshman?
