Interested to find your site. I have been researching my family history and discovered that my Great grandfather and his sister (Charles and Emily Brown) were born at the Horse and Groom Pub c. 1845-50 and that their father was the pub licensee at that time.
Can't seem to find any reference to this pub but I was told that it was rebuilt so presumably renamed or as something else. Can anyone throw any light on this.
Looking forward to hearing from anyone who knows anything.

Unfortunately it was knocked down about 10 or so years ago. It was just to the south of Farringdon on the A32 at the cross-roads that led to Newton Valence.
