I have all of the 9 Argeneaus, all of her historicals and Hannah Howell anthologies. The only ones I don't have are the Holidays from Hell. Working on fixing that situation though. But like you I was able to get them before they got too scarce and boy am I glad I did.
I have all of the Argeneau books except for Single White Vampire which I ordered from an indepent seller on Alibris before the price went sky high. However, it has been 3 weeks and still no sign of my book. It was sent via media mail and they say don't worry until it has been 30 days or more.
I picked up a copy of Love Bites at Barnes and Noble the other day for my sister and they had one other copy. If anyone wants, I can see if the other one is left and mail it to you. No fighting! The first one to respond to this post will get it (if it is still there) In fact, I will go and call them right now to check before I post this.
Still available! They will hold it for me for 3 days. Remember, no fighting!
I have a few of Lynsay's historicals but I'm missing about half. I'm having fun finding them here and there. I was lucky and found a copy of The Loving Daylights at my library's used book sale just a few weeks ago.
Maybe we should start a book exchange. Post a wish list of books we are having trouble finding. What do you think?
I have all 9 Argeneaus, and missing Always and Sweet Revenge from the Historicals (according to Barnes and Nobles I will have them tomorrow), recently read the Anthologie - Holidays from Hell (loved it), want more though and will be looking soon.
Will be taking the ones that arrive tomorrow on my business trip. I'll miss you guys as I will be out in the field and will not have access to a computer until Sunday night.
Stauri - who's because her laptop does not work out in the field.
Hey Stauri, what do you mean by "going out in the field"? When I was in the Army, that meant we were going out to set up our equiptment and train out in the woods. Are you in the service?
Oilfield - I'll be on a drilling rig, but staying at a dude ranch, most of the week, good thing is there will be roughnecks and Cowboys out there. Woohoo, the best of both worlds. Which are not bad to look at when they are all dirty and oily. Especially when they have muscles ripled everywhere.
The last time I was out "in the field" we had a guy that I called "George Clooney" all the time. He was gorgeous and knew it, was always making sure you noticed him.
I did have all the Argeneaus but the other day, Love Bites is missing. So I am missing that. I have Holidays Are Hell and Dates From Hell. that is all I have.
If you don't find your copy of "Love Bites" you may want to get another one. It is one of the three printed by Dorchester (those three were published before Lynsay moved to Avon) so sometimes they can be hard to find between printings. It is in print right now. I have seen it at the local Barnes & Noble...but the LB, SWV, and TD&H books move fast now.
I have all the Argeneau books but have yet to get the historical ones.. next paypay maybe? Are they a series as well .. if so, what's the first one I should start with? I so didn't know they were vampire related until recently!
None of Lynsay's historicals are vampire related or part of a series. They are all stand-alone novels.
I was just rereading the first couple of chapters of Love is Blind again (I was double-checking something I referred to) and was just laughing out loud. It's just as funny the second time around. So that would be a good one to start with. They are all great books but this one is my favorite of her historicals.
I only have 9 Argeneau books, "Love is blind" and "The Brat". It's hard to buy Lynsay Sands' historical books because whenever I go to Chapters or Coles, I can only find her recent books. And when I want to order them online, they are "temporarily unavailable to order"
Is "Lady pirate" good ? I found it at "The world biggest book store" but I didn't buy because I don't like pirates.
i have read some of the historicals...they are good, but i don't collect them!
I am about to read The Reluctant Reformer! can someone tell me, is it as funny as it seems??
I have all 9 of the Argenaeus and 1 of the hannah howell/Lynsay sands books....
(I just loveboth of them!)
Temporarily Unavaible means the publisher is being slack or cheap and isn't printing the books after they sell out.. possibly best to go on to Ebay or Amazon (some of the books sell for freaking 50c! Used of course)
I don't know about Amazon..I would think so, but EBAY does....There are a few sellers who don't ship international or Canada just because they don't want to hastle and they usually post that they don't!! but most will, plus there is a place you can type in which country you are in and only get sellers fromthat particular place!...
