Welcome to our forum. To prevent posting by advertisers or porn sites I've made this forum password protected. To get the password, please email me at admin@lynsaysands.net and I will send it to you. Requesting the password will not put you on my mailing list or anything else, it just gets you the password, I promise. However, if you want to be on my mailing list to receive newsletters and such, please go to the mailing list and subscribe, I might even write one some day <Grin>.
Well, I guess I should have posted a welcome to the new forum. I've already started messing with the colors. I found it impossible to read in the original theme I chose, so I have fiddled with it a bit.
LOL. I think it's cool. It's interesting to see where everyone is.
And for anyone who subscribed to the mailing list and clicked the confirmation thing and got sent to weirdsville (a homepages About thingie) Don't worry, it wasn't a virus, just a technical glitch that should be fixed now.
Lynsay, who never claimed to be computer literate and is still working out the kinks
It's nice to see you back Lynsay. I hope you are doing well and not working yourself to death like you let slip on the romancenoveltv forum. Now I feel bad for always being like a freakish addict and demanding "MORE BOOKS, I NEED MORE BOOKS!!!"
Okay, I've had the message board bookmarked for so long, that I rarely check the home page of the website so I've never seen the map before this!
Go to the home page, and click on For Readers. Then click on Guest Map. Use the Zoom to get as far in as possible so you can put your icon where it will be most accurate. Click and drag with your mouse to move the map over (being careful not to click on one of the little people otherwise a different box pops open). Keep zooming in until you can see clearly where you live. There are so many people in some places I didn't think there would be room for another until I zoomed in. Then click on Post to pick up a push-pin and place it where you want. Then a box will open where you fill in the required information.
I wasn't sure at first what they wanted for Website URL. So I put in the one for Lynsay's homepage, http://www.lynsaysands.net/readers/index.html It seemed to work so I guess that was it.
Acal, don't forget to fill in the circle for a boy! We wouldn't want you to be wrongly represented on the map.
