I am apparently descended from the Denisons, Edward and John, who settled in Ireland but have been unable to link between them and when my ancestor James Denison supposedly left Belfast for Boston c. 1805.
Irish records are scarce but hopefully one day I'll have more time and money to research. Keep up the good work!

Clarification of info on Wm Carpenter (1576-1638)

If you believe you are a descendant of William Carpenter, understand that there was a William Carpenter of Rehoboth, MA and a William Carpenter of Providence, RI in the late 1630s. Each had separate wives and about 8-10 children each. Too many Carpenter Family Trees are appearing with (a) William Carpenter, listed with the wrong wife and either the wrong children or all eighteen children. These inaccurate trees are being shared widely. Please be observant, patient and use common sense. It is a bigger challenge, but more fun and satisfying.
