As a bystander at many events, I have wished I could take part in someting to help all dogs, cats and other animals fina safe secure and happy homes. I rescued a rednosed pitbull 10 months ago and she was a puppy and she came from a shelter and I don't know her back ground! But I can tell you this she is the best dog I ever had,she is my baby and when I hear of animal cruelty it sickens me how people can be so cruel to innocent animals! I always say the law should do the same to the people who harm animals,tie them to a tree and not feed them for days or weeks,the system lets animal abusers off to easy!Animals are like children they forgive easy and give unconditional love!!It is good to know there are people like us who care! Keep fighting against animal cruelty!!

I have a wonderful 2 year female pitbull named Carmen who my husband and I have raised from a baby. She has become a proud big sis recently since my son has turned 3 months old. The city of Toledo has BSL and has had me in court since Carmen is a "viscious dog". (My 13 lb. cat and her play all the time and if one sqeals, it's the dog not the cat!) Now I'm registered as avisciou dog owner, (mugshot and fingerprints)and if I can't come up with approx. $20,000 for court costs and dog insurance they will take her and destroy her! (My house isn't worth that much!)She doesn't have a mean bone in her body! If someone knows of a way I can beat this or get inexpensive help, I'd appreciate it greatly!

It is truly amazing the amount of work that has been done in such a short time to bring BAAC to reality. I have to say that it makes me feel great to know and befriend so many people that are willng to work together, very kindly, to help such a great cause. I am happy to be part of this.
