Getting to Glenmalure.

Does anyone know what the R747 road from the N81 is like for a large camper or caravan or what is the best way from Kilkenny to Glenmalure?

The 747 is generally an ok road to drive Kieron. i pulled my large caravan on it once last year.. slightly bumpy in places and one or 2 shrp bends but do-able. if heading into drumgoff the road from the 747 into drumgoff can be quite steep coming in. Shouldn't be too much hassle though.

Thanks Stephen, a new member was enquiring, as it will be his first time in our Club site and driving a 28' 7 berth camper. I am not familiar with that road, as I come from the Laragh side.
