We are travelling to france this summer Can anyone give me some advice re breakdown assistance/insurance for the two weeks of our stay .i have cover here but might need extra cover ..

you dont mention in your post if you have a motorhome or caravan. For the last couple of years I have purchased break down cover from the AA for a motorhome approximately €130 for three weeks cover in Europe. I have had no need to use their service while away but knowing that I have the cover should I need it is reassuring. Most insurance companies offer breakdown services but you would need to be happy with the cover provided.

Check with your current insurer, our insurance had international breakdown cover includes, I am interested in finding out what health insurance cover people take out when travelling in a motorhome in france, for trip of about 1 month duration.... Any suggestions?
