I trace my ancestry to John Organ, Sr., a native of Belfast, Ireland. He arrived in the US around the time of the Revolutionary War and was killed at the Battle of Yorktown in 1781. His son Matthew Organ, moved from Pennsylvania to Eastern Ohio. Starting with Matthew Organ, my line is as follows: William Organ married Grace McBride; John Organ married Louisa Gillfillan; Matthew Organ married Sarah Spain; John Organ married Rettie Huffman; Henry Organ married Amanda Spain; Emma Organ married James Huffman; Danny Huffman married Cynthia Edwards; myself. Therefore, I'm the tenth generation from the founder of my Organ line in America.
