Re: Re: Charles Organ - 2nd Update

Article:
New update - Found Charles Organ listed in the 1860 Monroe Co. WI census as Charles Orgin. Occupation - cordwainer - which is consistent with 1870 census listing occupation as shoemaker. But he had a wife named Lydia (from NY) in the 1860 census. And he indicated that he was from Canada (1860) rather than VT (1870.) Charles probably married much younger Emily just prior to 1870. Is anyone familiar with this family?

Article:
Update to earlier post - Charles was reportedly born in VT probably in the 1820s. Charles was in OH in the 1860s; married Emily Rodd of OH prior to 1870. Daughters born in 1870 and 1872 in Tomah, WI. His parents are John and Mary Organ. He and Emily had 15-year old Fanny Organ (from NY) living in his household per the 1870 census. Fanny appears to be the daughter of John and Ellen Organ. John and Ellen were married in NY. Looking for more info on parents and would like names of siblings.
