RAOC, Palestine '46 - '48 - Sarah Agassi interview with Jeremy Paxman

Hello

My name is Peter Baker. My father is Reginald (Reg) Baker, who served as a dispatch rider for the Royal Army Ordinance Corps, in Palestine, between 1946 and 1948.

As members of this forum with links to the Palestine campaign may know - on 27 February 2012, an interview with Sarah Agassi, one of the perpetrators of the Kind David Hotel bombing, conducted by Jeremy Paxman, was aired on BBC1.

My father asked me to write to the BBC to communicate his outrage and put an open copy of the letter on the internet. The letter is now online and can be found here:

The Palestine Veteran's Association have been informed and my father will be attending their meeting in October.

If anyone on this forum knew my father and would like to get in touch, he'd be overjoyed to hear from you. He is in fine fettle, excellent health and living in Suffolk. You can contact him through me at:

thejollypilgrim@yahoo.co.uk

Any comments on the letter to Mr Paxman are welcome and can be made on the page where the letter is stored.

Best regards

Peter Baker
