What training procedures/books do you recommend for a new BH puppy. I have purchased from a top breeder and want to do things the "right way". I figured I would come to best teacher for advise. I have joined a SAR group and we do have one other bloodhound which is remarkable! We plan on teaming together and his handler is very open to me learning from him. At this point I am focusing only on trailing and possibly later on cadaver search. Thanks in advance for your reply.

You are smart to stay with one training function with your first dog. Then after you get more experience under your belt go for a multi purpose dog.
