I have been trying to get together with people through this website and have heard nothing from anyone. I have a 12 year old son and he's very social it would be nice for him to get together with a bunch of kids.

Ugh! Too bad you are so far away! We are new to this group but not to homeschooling. I have three boys and my oldest two are very close to your son's age. 
Bummer. We are looking to connect with others too.
