Home School Day at the Connecticut Historical Society April 16th!

Hello!
Join us for our first ever Home School Day at the Connecticut Historical Society on Wednesday April 16th!

We are very excited for our first event designed specifically for the Home School audience. The day is designed to be flexible to fit the needs of your family and is structured around 45 minute workshops arranged around a variety of topics. There are 4 time slots- 2 in the morning and 2 in the afternoon, with different age-appropriate workshops in time slot. Workshops are hands on and participatory and many include a take home element.

For a full detailed schedule of the day visit www.chs.org/homeschool

Cost: Each 45 minute workshop is $5 per student and includes admission to the CHS galleries.
· The fee for parents is $4 for the day.
· Parents must remain in the building at all times.
· Maximum cost of $50 per family.

How it works:
· There are 4 time slots with different age-appropriate 45 minute classes offered in each time slot.
· Sign up for as many or as few workshops as fits your needs.

Pre-registration required:
Please call Rebecca at (860) 236-5621 x232 or email education_assistant@chs.org to register or for any questions.

* Our hope is that this is the first of many events and we are looking to the Home School community for feedback about this and future programs. Fill out a survey after your trip for an opportunity to win free family admission to our next Home School event in the fall.
