I am extending an invitation to anyone interested in the Fifth Congressional District election to share some good food and conversation with one of the candidates for Congress at an event in Roxbury on July 25. This is NOT a solicitation for funds...the event is free. The candidate is Republican Mark Greenberg, a Litchfield businessman who has a wife, four young children, a real estate company, and a very successful animal rescue foundation. If elected, he has pledged to term limit himself to two terms,and to refuse to accept any public pension. He also is a strong defender of the rights of parents.
