Activities/play groups in Mystic area?

Hi
I am looking into homeschooling my 5 year old daughter but am concerned about the social side.Is there anything going on in this area so we don't get isolated?
Then I can make my decision.We have a year before returning to the UK.

There is a co-op that meets fridays in Old Mystic organised by Heather thompson....ages very young to about 13.
Also a "meet-up" yahoo group based in Norwich for younger kids.
I can mail you contact details if you want.
Integration with UK curriculum is an interesting challenge, esp if you are more intersted in process than content

Details of the Norwich group and Old Mystic would be useful and then I can come along hopefully.

I did teach primary age children at school in the UK and I know it will be a challenge to cover the curriculum at home but I need to prepare her for when we return too.
