One more question, my daughter is coming out of a public school situation where she had many friends, always made friends easily. Are there local groups with kids similar in age that meet regularly so that she may meet and make some new homeschool friends?

I saw your message. We as wellwould like to meet other homeschoolers. We live in east lyme . soon there will be a lot of fun things to do. What do tou like to do. My only homeschooled daughter is going to be 10 April 17th. as well I have a 3 year old son that attends preschool part time.
