My family and I have been Boating and swimming in Lake Anna for Many years and just this past weekend noticed when we were in the water that these tiny little worms would attach to our feet. They seemed to be from the sand on the bottom of the lake. This occured twice in two different areas around the lake on Sat. But Friday we were at one of the same coves and they were not there.
I know this is kinda silly and I am not much of a fishing type person but it was GROSS. Just curious if anyone has a clue what they are??? By the way they would not come off your feet without scraping them off!
Guess i will have to do some research on that.... I did not think leeches were around this area and in the lake?? But Honestly that is what i thought at first when they would not wipe off!
