Why not letting the members that support the KBFN have a little more say in what goes on.

My suggestion is this: At the State Championship each year, let any angler there that fished 4 tournaments that year vote on the schedule for for next year. Now I know your thinking how would that work? EASY!

The President or Directors will have already established the open weekends by that time. They can have the open dates marked down under each region. They also could have the lakes for each region listed. Example below:

Region: 1

Lake...... Date
Lake...... Date
Lake...... Date
Lake...... Date
River...... Date
Lake...... Date
.......... Date
.......... Date

Each Region would have the same dates and all their lakes or rivers listed. The guys would go thru pick a lake for each region and a date for each region. Add up the lake with the most votes and the date with the most votes. DONE....

It would take about 10 minutes to check these and announce the the schedule for the next year. It wouldn't even have to be done that night. It could be done anytime that weekend and posted the last day of the State Championship.

This way, the ones that support the KBFN are getting a little say in where they fish. And yes I know its about people in the region voting, but if you look at the ones that fished 4 tournaments, all the regions would have fisherman from their region voting.

Some regions only have a couple of clubs that belong to the KBFN. Leaving the decision up to one or two people. This would fix that!!

Its also a way of rewarding the ones that truely support the KBFN....And to be able to make it to all 4 tournaments with the way things are today, is saying something. Just a small way of giving back to the heart and so of this organization.

Again just an idea....but I think it would work very well.
