I just wanted to take a minute to say a few words about the 2011 KBFN schedule. As a member myself, this schedule looks tough when it compares to total weights and potential numbers of participation. As a board member, this is the voice of the membership with the exception of Region 3, who was automatically given Barren River in April due to KY hosting the Southern Divisionals; of which, I don't think anyone would complain about this tournament anyway. I know not everyone likes the looks of the schedule overall but I myself respects the voice of the membership and if this is what the membership chooses and overall it comes down to living on the river for a season, then so be it....I will be there. It is what it is because each regional director respects their own members and will represent them accordingly. There are no rules or bylaws that says we are limited to any waters we have access too. I have sat in on board meetings for many years and there has been times when past schedules could have turned out like this one but someone would speak out and mention that it was too many tournaments on the river and someone would have to give in and change. Let's respect each others regional choice and support, not only the KBFN, but each other as fellow KBFN members and go have some fun on the river. Best of luck to everyone next season and I hope everyone has a safe and happy holidays during the offseason. Congrats to everyone who made the 2011 KBFN state team, looking at the names KY has a very good chance to win....I wish them all the best. If anyone needs anything, as always, feel free to call me.
