Barren is a great place for the Southern divisional. The team(from Ky) that makes it will probably be the only ones that have ever seen the lake. Maybe a couple from Tenn. but that would be all.

At the time off the year we are holding the SD, any lake could be high or low. That all depends on mother nature. Ky/Barkley was 11' high somewhere around that time this year, so when your having a tournament that time of year,,,its anyones guess as of the water conditions.

With that beig said: I do think that the directors should make sure that the the first qualifier of the year be at Barren and be just before the SD. This would only make sense. If you had it the weekend before, the state team could already be there and the winners of the qualifier(if they are not on the team) could help out before they leave for home.

Make the right moves and the State of Ky should be able to work together and win the Southern Divisional in their home state.

Just my 2 cents, but it makes sense!!!!!!
