I do agree that the members should have a say so,it is the democratic thing to do, one way to get the consensus of the members is at the boat shows have a ballot bow set up so members can vote yea/nay, and also the directors can be emailed the members vote also, keeps costs down. ONLY ONE VOTE PER MEMBER. Then the directors can report the results and then it is decided, Fair and square.No t & f of prez,lol, no b*&%#$g/moaning, no fights on board. This is te adult and professional way to handle this, I am proud that this disscusion is going the way it is, it shows that we as memebrs are concerned for the health and membership for this club. The way I see this is yes I support this move, as it rewards the best in the state for their hard work and commitment, It would be hard for me to be angler of the year and then have to sit on the bench at the southern div,the event that we strive to get into to move up the ladder. It is a fair change and I belive that it will be for the better
