Hi. I am a researcher on the subject of juvenile delinquency at New York State Criminal Justice Services. I am working on a project funded by the National Juvenile Justice Agency involving youth aged 14-18. I would like to improve the youth's attention in responding to our written questions to by illustrating questions with entertaining and interesting cartoons. I would like to use several cartoons on the cartoon cottage site for this purpose. While we are not doing this project for business or commercial purposes, and are a state agency, I thought it would be appropriate to request permission to use your cartoons for this purpose.
