Hello, I am Scott Moshier, I worked as an Air Traffic Controller at Biggs AAF from Nov 1973- Jul 1976 and again from Mar 1978 - May 1981. I was there when the Space Shuttle Columbia was piggybacked through from Edwards AFB to Florida for the first launch of any Shuttles. Had a great time there working in Conjunction with El Paso Airport. saw a lot of different types of aircraft to include a lot that the old Confederate Airforce use to fly through.
