My dad was an ECM officer stationed at Biggs from 1962 to 1966 (Major Henry J. Parent). We lived at 7416 Castle drive. I remember spending Thanksgiving and New Years with my dad at the alert shack when he was on alert status. So many great memories as a kid in the 60's! You may recall the base commander as Col. Netcher and I believe he was replaced by Col. Johnson which he was later promoted to Gen. when he was transferred to Bunker Hill AFB to oversee the B-58 Hustler program.
