I am the same usually although I did read The Chase before I knew that there were other books connected to it and it didn't effect the story and I still haven't read The Deed or The Key (haven't found them yet) but I do have some books waiting around until I get the rest of the series. I just don't like reading a book that refers to other characters and you don't know what is going on.
Tracy, I finished The Chase and absolutely loved it. I didn't know the other books were connected to it, but it doesn't matter because the book still stands alone. I think my bookstore had The Key, so I will try to get it this week. My library has the anthologies, and finally all of the Argeneaus, but they only recently purchased three of the historicals in the large type.
After The Chase, I read Bliss. I thought The Brat was my all time favorite...but now it is tied with Bliss. It was so funny! Read it as soon as you can...I can't recommend it enough.
I loved The Reluctant Reformer...that is the book that inspired me to first email Lynsay. I was hoping she was going to write the book of another character, but alas, at this time, he must live in historical oblivion in The Reluctant Reformer because he belongs with the Dorchester historicals. If she writes for Dorchester again in the future, perhaps he will get his story told.
I have also read The Switch, Love Is Blind, and The Perfect Wife. I have liked all of the historicals.
I have also read almost all of the anthologies, because a few were at my library. Slowly, I am collecting the historicals and anthologies.
If you haven't read it yet, get Bliss asap. It is too good to miss!
Hey Kelli did you get a chance to read book four. I have to say it was by the far the best in the series. Ahhh now I can't wait for book five May 20th according to amazon.
