OMG, I got my TV guide yesterday and they mentioned a new show coming out this fall called "true blood" on HBO. when i scanned the internet, it based on Charline harris's books- southern vampires.(not sure if i spelled the authors name correctly)

Charlaine Harris...this is based on the Sookie Stackhouse Southern Vampire books...interesting characters and the book series is amusing.

There is more information on Charlaine Harris' website. It sounds good, but I don't have HBO.

It's still a long way off (in development might mean it never gets made) but Kimberly Raye's series, Dead-End Dating was optioned for a T.V. series to ABC.

I liked the books in this series. Not as good as Lynsay's of course (shouldn't even have to say it!) but I like them better than the Undead series. And I can see how this would translate well to a T.V. comedy show.
