I have all the books.. but I'm not going to be re-reading however until i've gotten through the list of other books I have to get through.. (about 22.. )
Considering how you fast you read your other books I guarantee those books will go by very quickly. And before you know it you will be in the same boat as the rest of us. Rereading the Argeneaus until September.
Way to go Rockie!
I am having a bit of trouble myself reading them..I need new glasses. I am legally blind, and they are hard for me to read w/o being in large print. But, soon...I will catch up with y'all.
Gypsy has worn glasses since she was eighteen months old. For some reason, they didn't get her prescription right on her new glasses last year...which is making it too hard for her to read normal print. When she gets back from roaming as a gypsy does, we are going to the eye doctor next month so she can get her some new !
What is wrong with eye people these days? When I got my glasses they were wrong! I almost fainted from the dizzyness when I got them! So they had to be sent back Well Lynsay's books use pt12 I belive, other authors use pt10 which is quite small
Can Gypsy read large print? Sometimes we find books in large print for my father. His eyesight nearly destroyed from his Diabetes but at least he can still read these editions.
Yeah trade paperbacks and hardcovers generally have quite large print. You can also contact the publisher directly and have books especially printed in larger font for the visually impaired. Though you have to pay extra for the extra pages and extra ink
Gypsy can read the large-type books with her current glasses and checked out a couple Lynsay's historicals from the library that come in the large print, but it is still difficult since her lenses are not correct. So far, none of the Argeneaus are available in the very large-type, that I know of, or in audio CDs.
She can read normal print paperbacks with the correct prescription. Trying to read them now is too hard, and gives her a headache. As she put it, she is legally blind, especially in one eye, so we could probably order them if it was possible. Hopefully, we will get her in for her eye exam and get correct lenses for her when she comes home. Thanks for being concerned about her. She has had some health problems but she is getting healthy now, and her eye exam is the next thing on the list!
TO answer that other one..
Umm nope I sure don't have a favorite one..
I like them all..
I might be able to narrow it down to like 2 or 3..
Umm SWV, Live Bites, and Vampires Are Forever..
I am rather fond of them all.. I couldn't tell you which I like more!!!
I just love them all!
I think we all have two or three favorites...it's hard to make have only one favorite Argeneau book. No matter how tough I make my silly quizzes! LOL I have about four ties for first place right now!
Then, a new book comes out, and I have to reread and re-evaluate all over again!
Oh, and even if you don't normally read historicals, you might enjoy Lynsay's, because she writes those with the same sense of humor...we often call them hysterical historicals because they are so funny!
