Y!!!!!??????

Re: What part of Lynsay's books would you want to sneak in a watch...

Well, um sometimes little boys like to play with small plastic toys like Leggos or something. I am just sayin that Lucern probably doesn't like to play ....with plastic toys.

Re: What part of Lynsay's books would you want to sneak in a watch...

yes he does... just ask Kate!!!!

Re: What part of Lynsay's books would you want to sneak in a watch...

I rather not. She may not take to kindly to me taking Lucern out for a ride, oh sorry slipped again. I meant going for a ride with Lucern.

Re: What part of Lynsay's books would you want to sneak in a watch...

you bad girl you. I know you try. right?

Re: What part of Lynsay's books would you want to sneak in a watch...

I do try. It is very hard but I know you understand me.

Re: What part of Lynsay's books would you want to sneak in a watch...

especially after talking to you!!!haahaa

Re: What part of Lynsay's books would you want to sneak in a watch...

In my defense, you, Gena and Wren did influence me quite a lot. I was never this BAD before

Re: What part of Lynsay's books would you want to sneak in a watch...

Re: What part of Lynsay's books would you want to sneak in a watch...

Jill - Stick shifts don't matter if you don't get past 3rd gear in the first place, the objectivity is to stay in motion.

Horses are a whole different story, depends on the size of the saddle and if it's big enough for two people, of course you have to make sure your careful with the saddle horn.

Re: What part of Lynsay's books would you want to sneak in a watch...

BTW, I didn't get to bring any cowboys home , would just add more fuel to the fire right now if I did. I have enough stress without stirring up more drama.

Maybe this fall though!

Re: What part of Lynsay's books would you want to sneak in a watch...

Actually....... I would like to see Lynsay research instead of watch the characters. I love history and sometimes it's hard to find reliable sources on the internet (I know I'm a nerd ) And if I was in a book I'd like to be a fly on the wall in The Key ... a perverted fly, but still I would be laughing hehehe good stuff there.

Re: What part of Lynsay's books would you want to sneak in a watch...

Hey, I was reading through the last part of this thread and...

I Never said anything about what someone can or will do when driving & switching carefully. Just said there were other things.....and then, what do you know? Some sisters' minds went into the gutter, hmmmm? I wonder why that happens so often around here since we are perfect angels!

For that matter, Stauri didn't say what someone can or will do either, just that it could be done. Though, she and I did grow up in the same region of the US! Bet there are several things we know about driving and switching... ...Nope, I better not go there! Because a true southern belle never tells & we know you too well...you girls will take it and run with it. Your wings will be tattered, and the will knock your halo crooked! And I just had them all polished!

Oh, and our not-so-innocent Acal will be right in there instigating ...umm, encouraging the mischief!

Stauri, hopefully you can bring home a singing cowboy next fall!

Jill, our influence on you came about because the potential for being bad was so evident all along, dahling! It was obvious we needed to direct that power for the greater good. Like I said before, I am always willing to help my sisters!

Anyone else noticed that Kelli and Copper both work to get us back on topic? Seems we may need to whip up a "corruption potion!" or something! We don't seem to have influenced them enough for the greater bad, umm good, yet...but we will!

Re: What part of Lynsay's books would you want to sneak in a watch...

Spoken like a true Southern Belle Wren!

Re: What part of Lynsay's books would you want to sneak in a watch...

Well someone needs to stay on topic. You know I don't plan on it. I tend to veer left and right and all over the place with our topics.

But a round of applause to those hardworkers. You have your work cut out for you Copper and Kelli.

Re: What part of Lynsay's books would you want to sneak in a watch...

Hahaha No need for corruption. Remember, I'm the one mooning old ladies :). I just thought I'd answer the question.. you really can't curse on this board lol I feel naughty seeing those little *'s I was like CRAP. Can I say C-R-A-P? CRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAPPPP. Just testing.

Hey, I couldn't post --ickly the other day with pr in the blanks when we were discussing unshaved legs, either. When I went to preview the message, I had a row of ******* in place of the word, and I was
So, you're not alone Kelli...I had never had that happen, so I was like when I realized WHY is was not allowing the word!

Jill, neither of us is going to stay on topic...and I think Kelli is falling to the wayside very soon... "come over to the silly side with us, Kelli...bwahahahahaha" Although maybe we do need a couple of forum friends to keep us on topic, kind of, maybe, very good trying, probably won't happen, nada.....

Oh, and J4 I may have to try waxing also. I have my eyebrows done, but legs...well, not sure how that will feel...being so much more to wax, kwim? But no shaving for a month...wouldn't that be great?Sounds good, sis!

Stauri, we Southern Belles just got it, and we know it, too! Which is one reason I'm never humble...it's just too hard to be humble when you are a Southern Belle! LOL

wren

Re: What part of Lynsay's books would you want to sneak in a watch...

OH GOD WREN NO! DON'T WAX! lol THE PAIN! I've never done my eye brows or legs but.... THE PAIN of where I er tested this horrible torture device called waxing almost made me cry! I swear to you, a razor or nair is your friend.

Kel

ps
why yes I am becoming easily distracted these days too, I guess its all up to copper now !

Re: What part of Lynsay's books would you want to sneak in a watch...

I know, Kelli, I do have my eyebrows done...but the cosmetologist is very good so it doesn't hurt very much.

But legs...that sounds very painful! I think I just may have to live with razors.

Yep, I knew you were going to get distractable...J4, we have finally influenced Kelli for the natural naughtiness..um, greater good. None can resist us, dear sister!

Re: What part of Lynsay's books would you want to sneak in a watch...

Welcome to the dark side Kelli. Knew it would happen eventually.

Just as side note I have this stuff that I was thinking of using for hair removal. But it smells so bad I been avoiding it. But maybe I will give it try again. Who knows maybe the smell has waned a little. One must suffer for true beauty. Think I read that somewhere.

Re: What part of Lynsay's books would you want to sneak in a watch...

Why thank you for the welcome Wrennie and Jill. Why do I feel like this was your plan all along? dun dun dunnnnnnn.

Re: What part of Lynsay's books would you want to sneak in a watch...

It was only a matter of time.

Re: What part of Lynsay's books would you want to sneak in a watch...

Stauri can attest to it. She was once a kind good southern belle. But now....(cue evil music )

Re: What part of Lynsay's books would you want to sneak in a watch...

seems we corrupted her somewhere along the line

Re: What part of Lynsay's books would you want to sneak in a watch...

Nope you guys didn't corrupt me, was already there, you just helped me find it again.

Re: What part of Lynsay's books would you want to sneak in a watch...

Lol I love all this Southern Belle talk :) Got me a'thinkin... You know how they say "What happens in Vegas...Stays in Vegas?" Well I know for a fact (not from experience I say! A fact!) That what happens in the south, usually New Orle'ns doesn't stay in New Orle'ns it can be YOURS for 19.95 plus shipping and handling or FREE on the internet at youtube.com... lol Alright I'm done picking on my lovely southern ladies

Re: What part of Lynsay's books would you want to sneak in a watch...

Huh Shaa have you been shopping lately?

Re: What part of Lynsay's books would you want to sneak in a watch...

We southerners stay away from video by mail, lol

We are not cheap, I'm rather a tad on the pampered side myself, very high maintenance, and not scared to admit it. lol

Re: What part of Lynsay's books would you want to sneak in a watch...

Heehee we northerns are pretty cheap well at least I am. Most of my video collection is by mail. Just got the BBC Sense and Sensibility. Wait is that what you mean Stauri?

Re: What part of Lynsay's books would you want to sneak in a watch...

No I mean by displaying ourselve for free to be sold on video for $19.95 plus shipping and handling.

My only video by mail is Netflix. lol

Re: What part of Lynsay's books would you want to sneak in a watch...

Does anyone wonder why it is always 19.95? Why not even 20. Is there a law that states you can not use even amounts?

Re: What part of Lynsay's books would you want to sneak in a watch...

Must be the "Hey, at least it's under 20 bucks attitude"

Re: What part of Lynsay's books would you want to sneak in a watch...

You are probably right. Still annoys me though? One of many pet peeves.

Re: What part of Lynsay's books would you want to sneak in a watch...

plus like ten bucks to get it there err into the teenage boys's hands and the dirrty old men tehehe okay I said I was done. I pinky swear, five minutes

Re: What part of Lynsay's books would you want to sneak in a watch...

What do you mean your done Kelli?

Re: What part of Lynsay's books would you want to sneak in a watch...

Kelli are you leaving us? Not so soon my friend. Thnigs are just starting to get interesting.

Re: What part of Lynsay's books would you want to sneak in a watch...

I meant I was done picking on people, sorta. lol

Re: What part of Lynsay's books would you want to sneak in a watch...

Yes, I am also "high-maintenance," and I'm certainly not cheap. All true Southern Belles are high-maintenance! Although as Dolly Parton says, "it ain't cheap to look this easy." Unfortunately, I don't have her resources...of any kind.

Her character in Steel Magnolias also says "There is no such thing as natural beauty!" She plays the beauty salon owner in that one!

wren

Re: What part of Lynsay's books would you want to sneak in a watch...

Well I am true Yankee so I don't really understand the stamina it takes to be a true Southern Belle but sometimes a girl needs a little high maintenance wether from the south or the north.

Re: What part of Lynsay's books would you want to sneak in a watch...

Here Here. Yankee through and through

Re: What part of Lynsay's books would you want to sneak in a watch...

Am I the only one who, everytime I read the thread subject, wonders where I would want to sneak in a watch? And what would I do with that watch?

Perhaps I could time how long the participants (pick any couple) remained passed out after fainting? How long it actually took for the front desk to bring condoms up to Lucern? (Sorry, closest thing I could find to a condom!)

Sorry, I know it's just a typo but it just triggers odd thoughts every time I see it!

Acal, who said that Lucern would have the riding crop? I don't think my boy enjoys toys. Of course we will be sightseeing on our merry jaunt and may not need the riding crop at all.

Only time will tell

----------------------------------------------------

Ohhh Jill you bad girl!

Re: What part of Lynsay's books would you want to sneak in a watch...

Kim,

I haven't found an answer for the original topic...there are so many things to choose from

So, bantering instead of staying on topic, which tends to come natural to me anyway!

wren

Re: What part of Lynsay's books would you want to sneak in a watch...

C1 & J4,

It doesn't matter where a girl is from, she needs to be pampered and given "high-maintenance" treatment!

We Southern Belles just tend to state the obvious! No sense letting a guy wonder about his responsibilities, kwim?

Also, there are those days when you absoulutely must go out and pamper yourself...It is in my W2 book "Wren's Rules Of Proper Treatment For Girls Everywhere! A Handbook for High-Maintenance & Pampered Beauties" Sounds good, true? Especially since we don't have access to those little nanos.

Re: What part of Lynsay's books would you want to sneak in a watch...

Oh, and by virtue of being the second sister, noted by the W2 status, I am the writer in the family...whether I am good at writing or not. It just comes with the role! However, that is an excellent title and topic for a book, anyway!

Re: What part of Lynsay's books would you want to sneak in a watch...

TeeHee Wren! Love the book title.

Re: What part of Lynsay's books would you want to sneak in a watch...

Jill, you say that you are a "true" Yankee. Did you you know that the definition of a Yankee varies quite a bit? To someone from England, a Yankee was anyone from the U.S., to people from the South it is anyone from the North, and another meaning is someone who lives in New England. I used to qualify on all three (grew up in Connecticut) but now only two apply. .

Trivia question (answer off the top of your head, no researching allowed):

If someone says they are from New England, what are the possible states they could be from?

Kimberly

Re: What part of Lynsay's books would you want to sneak in a watch...

Anything North and east of the Mason-Dixon Line. lol
