Whats your favorite book?
Mine right now is "Love Bites" and "Tall Dark and Hungry"
I love them.. they sooo funny! I just love "Love Bites" I love the way she tells the story!
I think my favorite scene in Tall Dark and Hungry is when he tries to tell Terri that hes a vampire. I bout passed out laughing...
Thanks for listenin...
i am sure it will come as no suprise to everyone else,
but Accidental Vampire....mmmmm!
***POSSIBLE AV SPOILER ALERT*****
VICTOR, he is so set in his ways, and always serious....but the poor guy gets sent all over, doing the strangest things!! COOKIE SHOPPING! BED TESTING! too funny!
Most of the men i know...are big baby's, especially when they have to do something they don't want to do...you get to hear abot it over, over, over, and over again!
and don't get me strated about when my hubby gets sick!!..i'd rather have all 3 of my kids sick at the same time, then deal with him sometimes!! and i tell him so too!! (not meanly of course! he knows when i am joking with him!)
You are absolutely right. My favorite is Single White Vampire. I love the letters in the beginning when Kate is trying to correspond with Lucern and all he keeps saying is "NO".
Gena you have a valid point. No offense to the gentlemen on this forum but most of the men I know it is like pulling teeth just to get them pick up a gallon of milk on the way home from work.
But maybe there are Victors in this world who are willing to go in the middle of night for a cheesecake run. I just haven't found them yet.
or when they have a tooth ache, my hubby seems to think that because I work at a dental clinic all I need to do is look in his mouth and I should be able to tell him what is wrong, but I am just a receptionist! how would I know?
Jill I agree with you... it still cracks me up. Cod Piece.
But VI has become one of my top choices.
I love the all the filling in of the other stories.
The Accidental Vampire with VI and ABTR being close seconds. I just loved the home town atmosphere in TAV and everything that was going on with everyone.
If we are talking about our favorite historical of Lynsay then I have to agree with Jacquie. Always is one of favorites. Although I like Love is Blind too. Both are hysterical.
Yummiest....A Bite To Remember...I Love Vincent and I love that book! When I ever meet Lynsay in person, that's the book I'm taking for her to sign. Then, I may put it in a glass case!
Followed closely by Tall, Dark, & Hungry...yummy Bastien, and Vampires Are Forever...yummy Thomas!
wren aka W2ofAE4...never feel very much like an when we talk about our favourites!
Another good historical by Lynsay is The Switch. I don't want to ruin it for any who haven't read it yet but I can promise you will be laughing out loud to that one.
Jill, I especially like the part where they are consummating their marriage and the king is pounding on the door asking if they are done yet...and oh yeh the horse in the keep scenes. I like all of her historicals..I always laugh through the whole book:)
Well, Tall, Dark & Hungry is the first book I HAD to buy. I really didn't want to wait for 11 other people at the library to read it, so off I went.
I'm glad that this is now in my collection.
The next book I purchased was 'Vampires are Forever' even though I am still #7 in line for 'Accidental Vampire'
I think the reason I purchased this one was because Thomas is pretty much in all of the books, with the exception of one, so having to wait to read about Victor wasn't a big deal, but having to wait to finally read about Thomas meeting his lifemate became top priority.
And I am happy to announce that the library just emailed me and WOO-HOO!! 'Vampire Interrupted' is on the hold shelf for me!!!
I just finished VAF last night, so I am dying to know what happened to Aunt Marguerite!!!
All in all, I guess my very favorite would be.....
SWV! It's just too funny. And yes, it gives a whole new meaning to the word
'No'
Tracy if you haven't yet you have to read Vampire Interupted. That is one of her best stories. And of course you will find out what happens to Aunt Marguerite.
You would think that Bastien would be able to tell Terri about what he is properly like he has with his families lifemates.. but its different when its your own
My favorite books are: Vampire, Interrupted
The Key
The Perfect Wife
Bite Me If You Can
Vampires Are Forever
But that doesn't mean I didn't absolutely love each and everyone of them.
Okay, so I'm finally getting to read VI and boy is Julius a jealous one, considering he hasn't even met Margeurite before.
Poor Tiny. Although he does even things up when he suggests that Christian read dads mind, lol.
Can't wait to go home, do a load of laundry and cuddle up in bed to devour this one as well. I'm sure I'll be done by Monday, so I'll come back and let you guys know my thoughts.
That was devious of Tiny but I bet he only suggested it because Julius was going to strangle him Now do we have any hint of Tiny's real name? Because honestly I dont think his parents would have called him that from birth!
Wow, that was amazing! Talk about twists and turns.
Well, here I was going to go on and on about the wonderful latest installment of the Argeneau's, when I realized I am on the wrong thread to be spilling any spoiler news.
So, if I can find the VI thread (it's in here somewhere, I know it )
I'll get over there and post my thoughts.
I just have to say, I strated it Thursday night and was done by Sunday night (Would have been faster if hubby hadn't demanded my attention every 5 minutes, he seriously needs to find a book, lol)
