I was wondering if one had to read the books in order to understands them. I picked up Vamp, Interupted rendomly, the cover attracted me, and Im no sure if to read it without reading the ther ones.

I think that you could read them out of order, actually I think some have mentioned doing that. I am currently reading them in order but that is becasue Wren was kind enough to help me get them all. Plus if you read one then you will have to get the rest and then you can sit and reread them all in order

I have read them all backward the first one i picked up was Accidental Vampire, then vampires are forever, A Bite to Remember, tall dark and hungry,Vampire inturrupted, then bite me if you can. i have not read single white vampire, a quick bite or love bites.

It is a little easier if you read them in order. Of course a lot of use read the 3 brothers first because Lissi's was not out yet. In some of the books it references what has already taken place in others. If you read Bite Me If You Can you may not understand certain references that have taken place in Love Bites. But then again as long as you enjoy them, I do not really think it matters.

I didnt read them in order either, I picked up The Accidental Vampire because I just love vampires and the cover is pretty cool, I'm not done with all of them yet bacause I cant find some of them, but after I have them all I'm planing to re-read them in order, I dont think you HAVE to read them in order but I think it will be cool if I do, plus I get to read about Victor again, How I love him

i cant find the three i am missing either but when i do i plan on reading them in order too. and i agree Victor is yummy!

jennie you may want to try ebay if your local bookstore doesn't have them. Some use amazon.com to locate earlier books.

that is such a PAIN!!!!!!!! I am going to check Barns and Noble tonight when my brother comes and gets me and I'll check and see if they can order it for me, their really good at that, if they are not there. all i want is SWV, AQB, and LB *sniffle sniffle* is that to muich to ask?!?!?!?!?!?

While it doesn't affect the individual stories too much if you read them out of order, there is a gradual development which builds up over the course of the series and which is probably more satisfying and enjoyable if you keep to the chronological order.

One thing I don't recommend, though, is reading the books upside down. I tried this once and found it gave me a headache after a few hours.

Thank you Mr Spice, you know that I tried something like that too, I thought it would be cool to try something different, so I started reading the book backwards, not from the last page to the first one, but reading the words backwards, yeah, it didnt go too good I ended up with the biggest ever

Huh I have never tried reading a book upside down. I wonder if we did if we would see hidden messages like you get when you play songs backwards?

Will reading VI backwards or upside down gives us the true name of Mortimers life mate?

i actually have done that, read and entire book upside down, i found it not so difficult. i was really borned when i was like 15 and gave it a try.

My mind is already a jumble most days. If I tried to read a book upside it might actually start to make sense.

hey...with my dyslexia....maybe i can read faster if i try to read it upside down....i can't get any slower!
