we had fire works tonight. they were put on by the city for the Arctic Winter Games. they were really nice and the kids got to stay up a bit late so that they could see them, they fire them off on the ice and we are able to see them from our living room window. we don't get fire works up here during the summer because we have too much sunlight so we get them all during the winter.

Hey Jodi, I meant tell you. I keep seeing Yellowknife in the news. They were talking about the Northern Lights again. I wondered if you were able to see them.

Nope haven't been out at night to see too cold. but now that you mention it I might have to have a look tonight hopefully it won't be overcast, clear skys right now so maybe.
