Hi Lynsay! I was just wondering if there were different vampire families based in different countries of the world. I know the Argeneaus are based in Canada and the Nottes are in Italy. What about the Kenrics? I've noticed there's an Edward Kenric and a Wyatt Kenric? Are they related and are they British? I'm guessing there's a German vampire family because Harpernus Stoyan is German. Is Alessandro Cipriano's family based in Italy like the Nottes? I'm just so obsessed with these vamps. Are there any more vampire families other than the ones I've mentioned? Wow, I've just realized that I've been blabbing for, like, the whole thing. lol. Hope you can answer my pestering questions!
And he'd probably freak thinking about the amount of blood they must go through! Unless they do all their surfing at night. Yeah, that's it. They've form a whole clan of night-surfing vampires!!! And have lots of night beach parties.
Well it's not like a different single family in each country. Even the Argeneaus aren't in one country, they have a branch settled there, Marguerit'e sclan along with Victor and Lucian, but Martine and her brood (or at least her girls) are in England, then Vincent is in California. And Bastien and Marguerite spend a good deal of time in New York.
The Notte home base is mostly in Italy because the company is there. He was living in England for a time. It's where he met and first lived with Marguerite.
Yes, Harper was born and raised in Germany and has family there, and Alessandro is Italian, and Kenric English, but as with the Argeneaus I think you'll find their families probably have a branch settled there and then other branches elsewhere.
Something of interest I've noted here is that the more advanced and cramped society gets, the easier it is for immortals to avoid detection without the need to constantly move. It used to be that everyone knew and had contact with everyone in a community.
People who shunned society would have brought about whispers and suspicions and fearful glances and then talk and possibly problems. So immortals had to have at least some minimal contact and involvemnet in a community to avoid dawing unwanted kinds of attention . . . and then would have to move regularly because of it. Today, a lot of people don't know anything about their neighbor and just catch fleeting glances of them coming or going. People also move a lot more rather than living in one home all their married lives or whatever. And, of course, marriages aren't lifelong unions anymore either which brings about more moving about for people. All of this combines to allows for a little wiggle room in the "having to move" area for immortals.
Lynsay ramble away, I try to avoid cleaning as much as possible myself when my husband is home, other wise it is all up to me for the 2 weeks he is away.
I think it would be a total scream to see a redneck version of your immortals, Lynsay! All countrified and driving around in pickup trucks... LOL... Don't get me started, I'll be writing before the nights over... LOL...
Lucien's face, when he came to talk to along lost relative...and he is in camofladuge overhals (don't know about the speeling, you get the idea!), riding a john-deer, with a mullet. it would be so funny! not that it would fit into the books, but its funny to think about!

yeah that would be funny... Though I'm still seeing a truck with a gun rack... LOL... and the spare tire mounted on the front grill!
Would not be fair to have a quad in the back, that needs to be on a trailer.
True Redneck fashion would be to line the bed with heavy plastic and add water to make a redneck hot tub and the trailer attached with the quad on the back. Can you tell I'm a true girl from the south. lol Originally from the Heart of the Redneck Riviera!
didn't think of that....We would track out to the mudden hole, and have the quadson the back in case we got too stuck, and had to go get help!! (uuu-oooo!! the true contrygirl in me is comming out!) It wasn't a good day, unles you lost at least one or two pieces of clothing to the sinking mud!
