I'm confused

In Bite me if you Can, when Leigh asks Lucian if his nephews are also part of the council he is appalled by this very suggestion because they are too 'young'

yet...DJ is doing council work with Victor and if I recall he's only over 100 so why can he work for the council but it'd be so weird if Lucians nephews did

this is just my opinion....remember,

I think it wasn't that they were "too young"..that as an excuse. one of two things were going on there....

1st. Lucien worked for the enforcers as a way to seclude himself from the family (and we foun out why!)

2nd. I think he cared a lot for his extended family and took care of them. I don't think he wanted any of them to intentionally put themselves in danger.

Also opinion only But, Lucian would not be able to do what he does and worry about them.

I agree with both my sisters. It is one thing to put yourself in danger, totally another to know that your loved ones are.

Actually, you see, the enforcers aren't ON the Council. They work FOR the Council. Only the very old ones are allowed on the Council. Lucian's nephews (at least by Marguerite and Jean Claude) are not old enough to be on the Council though they could be enforcers if they wished.

Lucian is actually on the Council but also heads up the enforcers and works with them on occasion. Not always, but on special cases where the rogue is very old. He got personally involved in the Morgan case because Morgan had been a friend to his twin JC
