Lynsay VI, was outstanding!!!

Lynsay, I love all your books ( i am sure you know that by now!)

But VI was outstanding. I read the whole thing last night! I finished at 2am and believe me it exceeded expectations!!! that was awsome!! It answered so many questions. It also made me see a few of the characters in a totally different light!

SmileyCentral.com

YOU TOTALLY HAVE OUT DONE YOURSELF WITH MARGEURITE'S BOOK, BUT THEN AGAIN WITH SUCH AN INCREDBILE WOMAN, HOW COULD YOU NOT HAVE AN INCREDIBLE STORY TO TELL!!!

Thank you so much......G3 (who can't wait for the next one! )

Re: Lynsay VI, was outstanding!!!

**********************SPOILER*************************

Yeah G3 . I am so glad you got to finally read it. So I have to ask now, what is your favorite part.

I loved when Marguerite saw her ST. Christopher's medal and realized that everything that Julius said was true. I was going the whole time "YES!" .

Of course it is so funny when Julius and Christian are in the bathroom discussing how to woo Marguerite.

Re: Lynsay VI, was outstanding!!!

Lynsay I agree with Gena. This book has become my #1 favorite.SmileyCentral.com and eagerly await the next book.

****VI SPOILER ALERT****

J4 yes that was cute. Especially with GG standing there. They did not even hear him com in. The twist about Lucian and Jean Claude. WOW!!!!

Re: Lynsay VI, was outstanding!!!

yup it is one of the best of the book and is in my top 5 it is my 5 fav it knoked TD&H of the top 5
**************Spoiler alert************

i think it was a bit sad the part with JC he kinda went rouge in his owen way i think he wouldent be so mean if the whole JC dying and all that flowed never happend

Re: Lynsay VI, was outstanding!!!

Puppy he didn't really go rogue...
he merely was overcome with remorse and regret. Some people are weak....he turned to addictions. and as looking for a fix.

I personally think, he only started killing humans because he wanted his brother to end his suffering, and he knew the only way Lucien would kill him, was to push him against a wall. He knew his brother would follow their laws to the tee...and murder is murder nomatter how you spin it, unless he himself had committed an unthinkable crime!!

G3

Re: Lynsay VI, was outstanding!!!

I think that is why Lucian was distant to the family.
But he was there when they needed him.

C1

Re: Lynsay VI, was outstanding!!!

Yeah it was heartbreaking for Lucian. Twins share a special bond that goes beyond regular siblings.

I'm just glad he didn't take it into his head to kill Marguerite or his children. I got the impression except for Lucern, the other children were unwanted.

Re: Lynsay VI, was outstanding!!!

Not by there mother. JC probably felt that was the least he could do. Remember he abided by the 100 year rule.

C1 just popin in

Re: Lynsay VI, was outstanding!!!

Yeah it was the only rule he did abide by.

Re: Lynsay VI, was outstanding!!!

I think he knew it wasn't right what he did and had to live with that guilt for centries, (where as we mortals have it for 50 years or so) It seemed like he was sorry for what he did to Margeurite in the end. I am sure have the children was a way for him to make amends with her, so she wasn't so alone.

G3 (who dosn't know why she is getting really deep!)

Re: Lynsay VI, was outstanding!!!

***spoiler Alert VI*******

as far as my favorite part....I honestly have 3: J's reaction to GG when he realised who M was, the men in the bathroom...the son teaching the father how to get the girl! it was priceless....but also the train! for different reasons!!!SmileyCentral.com

my favorite line was:
I loved it when she ran away, and J came up behind her and said "if you don't mind , i'd rather not watch this guy grab your a$$ all night" or something like that!

But i still think my altie favorite line in the books is from "LOVE BITES"
Margeurite s talking to Etiene, Rachel had left him....and M was asking him if he had told Rachl he loved her...he said know, but she should know...and Mshook her head and spit out
"HOW DID I RAISE SUCH STUPID CHILDREN!" it is such a mothers' response. I loved it!

Re: Lynsay VI, was outstanding!!!

Getting deep is W2 place.

We 3 have to keep thing light. And stir up things also

Re: Lynsay VI, was outstanding!!!

You know funny you mentioned the train. I had a question (its what I do ). You know how Tiny tried to eat a sandwich and he thought the brown relish was disgusting. What is a Ploughman's sandwich made of?

Re: Lynsay VI, was outstanding!!!

**********Possible Spoiler****************************

You know I was reading a passage over again in VI and I just picked something up that I didn't know. Now don't laugh everbody but I didn't realize that Etienne was blonde. Then Juluis noticed that he looked just like his father. Was JC blonde too? I remember Lucian was blonde. I guess if they were identical twins, JC would be blonde too(duh ) Not that makes much of a difference.

J4-Full of empty thoughts

Re: Lynsay VI, was outstanding!!!

A ploughman's is a sandwich of thick, buttered, crusty bread, a substantial slab of cheese (Cheddar) and Branston pickle.

Branston pickle is a savoury relish with small pieces of diced swede, onion, cauliflower and a few other things in it. It tastes much better than it sounds and a ploughman's isn't a ploughman's without the Branston.

And you've just reminded me that I haven't had Branston pickle since I came over here and now I'm going to have to go out and find somewhere that caters for sad ex-pats like myself and imports it.

Dave (who is now yearning for a ploughman's lunch)

Re: Lynsay VI, was outstanding!!!

Oh I am sorry Mr. Spice. I didn't mean to make you home sick.

That Branston Pickle (hope I spelled that right) sounds pretty good. I would try it if ever offered. Much prefer that than Cheese and Onion sandwhich.

J4-Hope you able to get your hands on it Mr. Spice.

When did I become the "getting deep" sister

Is that part of the lineup...being second sis, or have I shown some deep wit somewhere of which I'm totally unaware?

Or is it those irritating quizzes...when I did my own, I wondered why I made it limited to only two answers per question!

W2... in disguise

Re: Lynsay VI, was outstanding!!!

J4 the ironic part about Etiene, is that I kew he had blod hair, and that Lissiana did also, but never thought until now, about where they got it from!SmileyCentral.com

Re: Lynsay VI, was outstanding!!!

I loved VI, have read it twice and just keep going back to re-read it. I have never laughed so hard - especially when the cut about naming all her dogs Julius and teaching them to heel. Other than the inside family tree give-away, interest was peeked at that point saying ok how is this going to work out. Then couldn't put it down.

I laughed and cried during this book. This book really hit a personal spot, I guess that's why I keep reading it.

Jill - You are so right about the winter thing. I don't get much winter here though. Christmas is usually 80 degrees and we are wearing shorts.

Gotta love the Gulf Coast Winters - we have two seasons here Hot and Hotter.

W2 - haven't you got that site up yet?

Re: Lynsay VI, was outstanding!!!

wait, where do you live again. All I get is rain right now. No sun for last few days.

Re: Lynsay VI, was outstanding!!!

Houston, TX (The armpit of America - Literally) Check it out on the Map!

Re: Lynsay VI, was outstanding!!!

Here all it has done is rain. GA should be the flood state. If you look outside there is a pond between the walkway and the parking lot.

Re: Lynsay VI, was outstanding!!!

I'll have to agree this book was OUTSTANDING! I loved how Julius and Margurette got together eventually and the uncovering off the past.

And also how this book was the otherside of the events in Vampires are Forever, it was great!

Re: Lynsay VI, was outstanding!!!

Also I noticed that Julius wears boxers, while the others don't seem to

Re: Lynsay VI, was outstanding!!!

Boxers are cool! And comfy. LOL. Yes I do know that first hand despite not being a guy. When I was in University, I used to buy guys boxers and wear them around the house like shorts when I was chilling or studying. Ankle socks, boxers and a bra are a great uniform for cramming for exams. Then after all night studying, you can just pull joggers and a t-shirt on over top, scrape your hair into a ponytail and run to the Uni for the exam

Hmmm, that brings back memories

Lynsay

Re: Lynsay VI, was outstanding!!!

Boxers or Briefs? Definetely Boxers

Re: Lynsay VI, was outstanding!!!

I thought that I would feel like Margeurite would seem like an older woman or motherly but she was amazing. I loved her story and it was absolutely fascinating I was mad that it had to end! lol
Thank you for such a wonderful story I loved the cover also! I wish I could have seen her face (I'm one of those people that like to look at the cover a lot while I'm reading odd I know)
I Loved It!

Re: Lynsay VI, was outstanding!!!

The cover is perfect for the book, its just like the cover of Bite Me If You Can. I'd love it when Lynsay gets around to writing second books for the characters I'd love to see how shes doing with a real lifemate

Re: Lynsay VI, was outstanding!!!

Okay I am little slow on picking something up.

When you guys mentioned the covers I went to look at them and I noticed for the first time the little bat tatoo on Marguerite's wrist and Leigh's collarbone.

I mean I saw that tatoo on Thomas on VAF but duh, its on all them. Do I feel stupid or what?

Re: Lynsay VI, was outstanding!!!

Yeah, the bat tat is in a strange place on Victor's chest on the cover of Accidental Vampire. Gotta assume that's his bare chest as he's the main male character

Re: Lynsay VI, was outstanding!!!

lol I don't think they would show us a females bare chest on the cover even if she was the main character

Re: Lynsay VI, was outstanding!!!

Hehe, you'd be surprised.. I have seen something like that before

Re: Lynsay VI, was outstanding!!!

Hmm...what kind of books are reading Acal or are they magazines

Re: Lynsay VI, was outstanding!!!

Some of the Erotic Romance have covers like that, only know because one of my girlfriends thought it would funny to leave one on my doorstep the other day with a bow attached. Her excuse was that I needed a little something extra in my love life (since it currently doesn't exist), I'm sure the mailman who dropped off the package at my doorstep loved the cover and thinks I'm a pervert. I know she put it there before the mailman got there, because she said there was nothing else on my doorstep before she left it there.

Now avoiding the mailman, just glad the kids in the neighborhood didn't come into my yard.

Re: Lynsay VI, was outstanding!!!

It was a book in my second favourite bookstore's adult section, I've never had one of 'those' magazines

Re: Lynsay VI, was outstanding!!!

Okay Acal if you say so

Stauri sometimes we all need a pick-me-up

Re: Lynsay VI, was outstanding!!!

Yeah you are right, only problem is she didn't read what it was about, she only liked the naked man on the cover, that's why she bought it.

I about died when I started reading it ( , and I did read it and the whole time.

Re: Lynsay VI, was outstanding!!!

Yes I am sure you did. Perhaps needing a cold shower after?

Re: Lynsay VI, was outstanding!!!

Sounds very.. interesting
